Review: I purchased a new vehicle with NIELLO MINI and was lied to by the finance/sales agent [redacted]. I was pressured into buying a prepaid maintenance policy and extended warranty against my better judgement but with the promise that both were fully refundable if I changed my mind or sold the vehicle. I discussed that I may not keep the vehicle longterm and was assured that the policies could easily be refunded although (please laugh) these policies would add value if I were to sell or trade the vehicle and the amount I would gain on resale would justify the cost (when I traded the vehicle 10 months later I was laughed at by the dealer and told I had been taken.) I then attempted to refund the policies and the extended warranty was refunded minus a non-disclosed fee but the prepaid maintenance was non-refundable. I asked to speak to [redacted] (surprise surprise not reachable) and went through a number of people before finally contacting the general manager MR. [redacted]. He assured me [redacted] would never lie and I must have been "confused." I have a masters degree and am a practicing professional I did not misunderstand. He then told me it was a MINI USA not a dealer issu. I contacted MINI USA and spoke to a supervisor who assured me this was a dealer issue and I would need to discuss this with the dealership not MINI USA. Upon repeat contact he adised me not to contact an attorney "as many others had without success". Obviously this is a recurring issue and not a isolated event. And obviously he knew it was a dealer issue as he was aware othe the attorneys and prior suits. At this point he will not respond to inquiries and is "not availabel" or "out of office". DO NOT BUY FROM NIELLO MINI...BEWARE [redacted] AND MR. [redacted].Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the extended maintenance policy and a refund of the "termination fee" on the extended warranty which I was lied to about at the time of purchase.
