We replaced both control arms at a cost of over $to us Customer has picked up his vehicle He said he is fully satisfied We are considering this a full resolution

Thank you for your patience while I gathered additional information As you can see by the two attachments, we paid $for new components to facilitate the larger repair necessary to remedy the collision involving our customer Please note that we did not have undisclosed repair history, our vehicle was properly certified, and our actions to pay for and provide these new components were only needed because of the subject accident involving our customer We acted with goodwill and without obligation We responded to the original Revdex.com complaint with a refund of all of our customer’s out-of-pocket expenses for other non-collision repairs, and that response was again due to our goodwill effortAt this point, we are not in a position to do anything further Please let me know if you have any further questions [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:when I went to the dealer I sent the key with the tow truck because I new youguys need it to perform service, the service tech gave it to me because he sayd that they didnt need the key, I am willing to take the key but I am in fresno I need a borrowed car to go ovethere and I also need to be assured that my car is going to be fully fixed, second I want an extension for my car's payment because I let uguys know from the first day and im berlie getting a response I also had to pay tow truck serviceIf im no warrantied that my car is going to be fully fixed because that is a car defectIf im not warranteed that its going to be as its supposed to be than I want termination of my contract (etc "as explaind on first complaint")

***, We will agree to pay for 100% of the control arm replacement but no repairs beyond that. Once the control arm has been replaced then we will be able to diagnose the other items that you mention are having problems (check engine light, transmission, fault etc). Whatever
repairs are determined to be needed will be turned into ***, the extended service contract company, for approval If you agree to this then prior to any repairs be performed, we will need you to deliver the vehicles key to us. As you discussed with *** *** on Friday January 13th, the key was handed back to you from our service manager around 5:00pm on Thursday January 12th (which was 100% visible from our service department security cameras). We need your key before we can do anything. Please call ***: ***or at ***

Thank you for the detailed concern. I have researched the background of this matter. When your earlier concerns were raised, our prior general manager worked with you to satisfy those concerns. Since you purchased the vehicle, I am comfortable that we have worked on your vehicle
with proper industry standards and conducted ourselves with proper business ethics at all times. There is no reason for us to have done anything differently. However, solely because we do value your business and want you to have a positive experience with us, I researched the amount of money you have paid to have your vehicle maintained or repaired since you purchased it from us. In April 2016, you spent $for an oil change. In September 2017, you paid $118, which included the vehicle service contract deductible and an oil change. Purely as a goodwill gesture, we are willing to refund the total of these two expenses ($194) to you as a full resolution of all concerns articulated in your Revdex.com complaint. Again, we do not believe we have done anything wrong in this matter and make this offer purely as a goodwill gesture

I am rejecting this response because: This is my first Revdex.com complaint surrounding this issueYes, when the car accident was discovered VW Niello did pay Niello Collision the difference in damages for the first original car accidentThat deal was worked out by and between the two above named agenciesI had nothing to do with that. This still does not recoup the loss in total value of my vehicle due to the first and original undisclosed car accidentMy understanding by Niello Collision is that the bondo work and other original damages to the vehicle would have been discovered during the internal pre-certified inspection. I am looking to recoup the cost of the loss in value of my vehicle from which I originally purchased itIf the first car accident would have been disclosed, the sale price of the vehicle would been below the sale priceThe value of the vehicle depletes with car accidents and thus the total value of my vehicle with the now known car accident has depreciated

Thank you for your patience while I gathered additional information.  As you can see by the two attachments, we paid $656 for new components to facilitate the larger repair necessary to remedy the collision involving our customer.  Please note that we did not have undisclosed repair history, our vehicle was properly certified, and our actions to pay for and provide these new components were only needed because of the subject accident involving our customer.  We acted with goodwill and without obligation.  We responded to the original Revdex.com complaint with a refund of all of our customer’s out-of-pocket expenses for other non-collision repairs, and that response was again due to our goodwill effort. At this point, we are not in a position to do anything further.  Please let me know if you have any further questions. [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Ok I will provide the key today, after 100%full recovery from my vehicles piece I will wait and see what the diagnostics for my transmission are and than we will proceed from there.

We replaced both control arms at a cost of over $800 to us.  Customer has picked up his vehicle.  He said he is fully satisfied.  We are considering this a full resolution.

I am rejecting this response because:there was no resolution met for the loss in value to my vehicle when it was discovered there was an undisclosed car accident on my vehicle prior to purchase. The option that was offered was to sell me a GTI Golf that was on special. This would have entailed me entering a new loan with a higher interest rate than what I am currently at and an offer on my Tiguan of lower than what was owed on my loan due to the original undisclosed car accident. I had dropped the issue because of the frustration dealing with a new salesperson trying to make a sale versus correcting a error. Now, dealing with mechanical issues of this car I'm concerned I've been duped.  Should I have to sell this car, the original value in which I purchased it is diminished due to the undisclosed car accident.

Review: On March 4, 2014 I was going down Arden Way, when a red car caught my eye at Neillo Volkswagen. I stopped by to check it out and the rest turned into a nightmare. The salesman ([redacted]) who was on duty came up and asked if he could help me. I told him I just wanted to look at the red car that caught my eye. He said we have a blue one over here that was a good deal. He asked if I wanted to drive it. I said no because I can't afford a new car or car payment. He said, let me take you for a ride in it. I asked him why waste you time. I can't afford a new car. So I went for a ride and it didn't change the problem. I couldn't afford it!!! So I told him that again plus I have bad credit. He again said don't worry about that. Let's go in and see what your score is. I knew what it was and it wasn't going to pass. So I went in and I spent the whole afternoon there with all there sales people entertaining me while they check out my credit. The financial man came out and said oh! Your credit is good (610) So he TD (the financial man) came out again and asked me how much I could put down. I again told him I have no money. Not once but half a doz time. (with all the sales 4 or 5 standing listening to our conversation. He again, came back and said we'll take your car as a trad in ? I said fine. Than you there not going to get anyone to take the loan because of my credit. He came out again and asked what kind of payments could I make. I told him and the other 4 or 5 salesmen. I can't!! I make $1016 a month and very small pension $ 68.00 that I live on & there's nothing left over. At that time they had my car keys & I was caught in an area I couldn't excape as I had all these man standing there. I never saw [redacted] again till it was over. I finally said fine to 315 a month. That I had no idea where it was going to come from but I wanted to go home. He came back out and said I qualified and now have a new Volkswagen Passat 2012. I didn't even get to pick out the car I wanted (that was the car they had to move off the lot & the target for the day) and I got it!! I never saw my old car again. They cleaned it out and gave me all my stuff that was in my car. Then gave me the keys to the new car and the paper work. Well, I find out weeks later when I stated getting the reject letters from the company that said no! All rejected letters included: Schools Financial Credit Union Capital One Auto Finance Best of West Ameri Credit Then they (Neillo) changed my income and got the loan from Wells Fargo I called Wells Fargo after getting all these letters and asked why they excepted the loan. Theresa said, because you qualified. You have an income of $3600.00 a month. Far from the $1084.00 I get We go with what the car dealer gives us. (TD of Neillo) all the computer did the work and TD put the info in the computer. I asked for a copy of the Credit app for Wells Fargo (which I've enclosed) When I signed the contract, I just wanted to get out of there and go home! I believe now that I was working with desperate, dishonest people and harassment of an elder person. I called Neillo Corporation and there comments was I signed the contract. I went to TD and he said the same thing. Not mentioning the pressure they (all the salesmen) were doing. I went back and talked with Bill the manager and asked him for the written applicant but they don't have that. He said, you got a great car and it will last you a long time. You got a great contract & we work hard to get it for you. Didn't say it was fraud oh! he then filled the car up $60.00 worth of gas. So I kept the car & tried for 8 months to make the payment I lost sleep, I've robbed Peter to pay Paul, I screwed up my monthly fix payments and I have learned a lot. But mostly all I have learned we're in a dishonest world and you can't trust anyone. Everyone is out for the dollar they can make. I filled out the papers for DMV telling them I don't have the car Wells Fargo does. That was Feb. 19, 2014. On March 2, 2014 I got a letter from Wells Fargo (letter included) saying they sold the car & here's whats left for me to pay them. Who is now without car or transportation. They sold the car February 25, 2014 Again, they sold the car on Feb 25, 2014. I jut got a letter from DMV saying they are going to suspend my registration as of 5/12/2014. I called DMV then back and again and told them I don't have the car and gave it back to Wells Fargo on 1/31/2014 They looked it up and said I'm still on ownership. The car is sold! I then placed a call to [redacted] at ###-###-#### X [redacted] and told her what DMV said to me. She said I owe 3000. and got nasty and that was that. I made copies of all the paper like I've done for you and I'm now thru. I'm quitting before I give myself a heart attack. I'm 72 years of age. I've bought cars in my life time I'm in good health/and I'm sick of the world my grandchildren will have to grow up in. My trust and faith in people has been broken. I am with out a car. I can deal with that.Desired Settlement: To zero out my balance.

Response:

Between 1:15 and 1:45 pm on Wed May 7th I received a call from [redacted] of Niello Volkswagon.

Review: During their car wash, the dealership damaged the entire paint of the car in scratches all over the car.

On March 25, 2013 I came to the dealership to get my brakes and fuel pump inspected and a visual inspection. I gave the dealership authorization to do the complimentary hand wash. My service advisor was [redacted] When I received my car on the same day, my car had spider webbing scratches all over the finish and even the plastics. These scratches are from friction between the cloth and the car. Every single panel of my car was covered with these scratches. When I talked to [redacted] before I left, he told me to come back another time and they will fix the scratches with a detail.

I came back on March 29, I was just asked for my keys and was not even told to do any paper work, and was not even asked if I needed a shuttle even though the dealership did not tell me a for sure promised time, they told me to be there before closing. When I came inside the service dept. there I spoke with someone else and then was given a shuttle home and paper work. After taking my entire day I come back to the dealership and see that all the dealership did was run my car through the car wash, the car was even more covered in fine scratches. I left the dealership without saying anything about the scratches, since it seems as if they will not want to fix my car and I was already late for another appt.

When I get in a call later in the week to ask about my service on March 29, I tell the manager what was going on. He then promised me a detail by a third party detailer and a loaner car since I have already wasted two full days with no advancement in my situation. This service was setup on June 19 by [redacted] When I come back expected my car to completely fixed, I see that all they did was add a layer of wax to my cars finish. This made the car seem as if the scratches were slightly better. After driving through the rain and then inspecting the finish, I see that there are now heavy traffic areas, covered in scratches, where the detailers dragged their polishing cloths. Now the cars paint is in the worse condition I can imagine, and it upsets me everytime I have to get close to the vehicle to drive anywhere.

...additionally, the inside of the car was cleaned even though that was not part of the repair, the car was dripping in the oil based cleaner all over the vinyl and plastics. I had to spend another hour wiping this down as to not leave splash marks all over the vinyl. Also, they caused a scratch on the inside panel near the gear shifter.

The car is an 11 VW GTI, color Gray, under manufacturer warranty, License# [redacted]Desired Settlement: I would like the dealership to return my vehicle to the condition it was in before they washed it the first time. The dealerhship needs to hire a company that will return my paint to that condition, since they do not have the means to do so.

During the time the car is away, I will need a loaner vehicle.

[redacted] our service manager, agrees to pay for Mr. [redacted] to have his vehicle detailed at the detailer of his choice. Please let me know which detailer Mr. [redacted] chooses.

Thank you,

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

I would like my car detailed @

Sacramento, CA XXXXX

Also, I would need a loaner vehicle as the car being repaired is my only form of transportation and their shop is a half hour drive from my residence.

I purchased a certified 2013 Jetta SE from this dealership and in less than two weeks, I was having car issues and had to bring it in. They wouldn't give me a loaner car to use so I could get to work either. Supposedly they inspect all their cats before selling them, however, I belive the proof is in the pudding and that pudding is expired.
