The customer was left a message to explain the advertisement Taking his Base MSRP of $42,less 36,miles (based on 12,miles per year x model years) x per mile That brings the value to $22,and then damage / reconditioning was told the value would be $18,when he was here In the message we also offered to reduce our reconditioning evaluation and give him $21,for the vehicleAttached is the disclosure for the advertisement

I am the General Manager of Nielsen Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram and as requested reached out to *** *** I apologized for my internet department not doing a better job of researching his position with the trade and also lease payments on an upgrade of vehicle trims I let him know I have
discussed this with the employees involved and it is not an acceptable practice and was addressed I have asked my General Sales Manager Rick to review the deal and trade again and reach out to *** *** to let him what our bottom line is There is was a trade in discrepancy which caused the large difference in what he was told on the phone to the actual numbers I agreed we could have zero'd in a little better on the number before making him take the ride He appreciated my call

The warranty was cancelled by the dealership at the time the customer requested. The refund was sent to the leasing company. We have reached out to the leasing company to find out why the amount was not appliedAdditionally, we have been in touch with the customer to let him know the status

***As you are aware, the warranty on the vehicle comes from the manufacturer and not the dealership. This vehicle is a heavy duty, the customer does not feel the ride is smooth enough at speeds above mph. Ride quality is not the goal of heavy duty trucks (it is load and tow
capability) We road tested multiple vehicles, same style and type and all are very similar, we swapped tires from other new trucks to his and the ride does changes slightly(his truck has 9,miles on it). Some brands of tires may ride a little better than others. Dodge was given our findings and they did not give an ok to change the tires. The dealership is directed what to do by the manufacturer, who warrants and has the final say, when it comes to warranty repairs. The customer had an open case with the manufacturer and knows their stance on this issue.As far as the customer stating that a recall was not performed, causing him to have an accident? I can only tell you that all safety recalls were completed prior to the vehicle being picked up this past service, and there are no open recalls at this time. If the consumer feels the manufacturer is at fault for his accident, he may call the customer assistance number***As always we will work with both the customer and the manufacturer to try and resolve.Thank You*** ***Director of Fixed Operations

Although the pictures had been taken in November (our service department is under construction) they were misplaced or lostThe customer has since forwarded pictures to our advisor (***) who is working with Jeep and our body shop to resolve the issue. We have been in contact with the

The vehicle was first brought to us in Sept of (at 8,miles) with a harsh shift problem, and a vibration over MPH. At that time, per diagnostic procedure with the manufacturer, we replaced the valve body in the transmission and balanced the tires.Customer returned in October at
10,miles still with a harsh transmission concern. Per diagnostic procedures we overhauled the transmission.Customer returned in Jan of with a harsh upshift and a clunk when downshifting, the upshift problem was caused by a bad crank sensor which we replaced and the clunk downshifting was caused by a bad motor mount which we replaced. Road tested with customer to verify repair.We paid for the customer to be in a rental car for all visits. (When a customer is in a rental in NY or NJ there is a $per day fee for domestic security fee, which the customer is responsible for)The customer has contacted our service consultant and stated he has a high seed vibrationAt this point, we have offered an appointment to verify concern and diagnose as necessary. This may or may not be a warranty concern, high speed vibration can be caused by many things, most commonly tire balance, especially after winter in the northeast. The vehicle had a transmission concern, and there are limited people who diagnose and repair transmissions.  Customer was updated that we were working on it and would get it done as soon as possible.  Vehicle was completed and picked up 3-9-17

I believe we have this rectified at this point.  ** was looking for proof of tax payment from the dealership, we supplied that to the customer, saying he paid us.  Customer will let us know if he needs anything else.

value would be $18,000 when he was here.  In the message we also offered to reduce our reconditioning evaluation and give him $21,000 for the vehicle. Attached is the disclosure for the advertisement.

Dealership worked with customer and tried to arrange the purchase of a new vehicle. unfortunately we have been unsuccessful and the customers deposit has been refunded.?
