requested service to the motorcycle and replace tires on 3/10/2014. The work was done and the customer came to pick up the motorcycle on 3/30/2014. The work was performed to customer's request at the time of pick up. He was instructed to use caution on new tire installation. This is no different than any other delivery we do on new bikes or bikes with new tires. Caution is always necessary on days when the road and air temp is below normal for this time of year. Rider was upset and making a scene at the dealership. The accident happened on the state highway so therefore the police were called for safety reasons. The Lake Villa Police Department made a report on the accident.
Customer left bike on the same day of the accident and was asked to call our Service Manager the following day to discuss repair. The bike was repaired as per the customer's request. The customer was notified to pick up the bike when the repairs from the accident were completed. This accident is due to rider error and has no obligation to Nielsen Enterprises. It was an accident. Customer can pick up and pay for the repairs. The bike is ready to be picked up. Customer must pay for the repair with cash or cashier's check.

It was not even as cold as they make it sound and it was not rider error. I have explained already that I was using caution and if I were to go any slower I'd be walking the bike. The tires still looked wet for some reason. They called the police for no reason and after they got there tried to get me in trouble for being upset. How could I not be when I have never felt my bike slip like that before. They still didn't even say they would ride it in front of me to prove it was safe so that makes me even more mad. They have a reputation for poor customer service and bad quality work. I hold to it being completely their fault and that they are responsible for the damage done. If they don't want to even discuss how to improve this situation then that's on them as a company but I will be sure to let everyone I know aware of their work ethic and costomer service and I will also be making it public information in an attempt to close them down from lact of business.

In response to [redacted]'s question about his discount, we had originally taken it off the bill at the time the first estimate was made. We did this out of goodwill from the beginning because it was an accident. So yes, his bill is $530.17 after receiving the $182.26 parts discount. I have attached a copy of the repair order and highlighted the discount. We will not take any further discount off the repair bill. [redacted] spoke with [redacted], our Service Manager, and said he would be in to pick up his bike after his next pay check. [redacted] agreed to those terms. We understand that [redacted] is frustrated, but we are not a company that is "odd or shady". We fixed the bike as directed by [redacted] and we are just looking to get paid for the work we performed. We have had an A+ rating with the Revdex.com for over a decade and continue to provide great service to our customers.

they just informed me on 5/19/2014 that my bike will cost me 530.17 to get out. I responded by asking about the 182.23 that I was told would be taken off of the price and they said that was how much it was with it taken off.... now in my first letter I stated they told me the original price to get it would be 540.00 so now they are saying they already took that 182.23 off from the get go even though I didn't ask for it that day and in there first response they told me they would not do anything for me because they said it was completely my fault. this is bs and extremely shady. they have done nothing but lie and play games with me. I want there company to pay for my bike completely or for them to lose the Revdex.com backing up there business. I was told all of this by [redacted] the sales manager who also told me that [redacted] the owner wrote this up himself. I want a full list of every part, all the labor, and everything else that was done to my bike so that I can get a second quote to prove they are now trying to rip me off and still make every cent I was informed to pay since the day after the accident. they have not made any effort to keep there word with what they said they would do in the previous letter. it has been far to long that they have had possession of my property and I want it back. I was also told I could only pay in cash and I think that is extremely odd and shady. I will pay in whatever form is most convenient for me I don't see why they are still trying to make this harder for me.
