Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I was in neiman glass and showed them the picture of the door I said someday hoping Trying to order glass shelves nothing was said about ordering a shower door from them they had never seen a door like that before neiman glass wrote to you first of all the door was not redone more than once I talked with them neiman glass on the phone and I was trying to make sure that the door was the right size before it would come and I told her it was ¼ inches high .when they came to measure he said it’s dollars I was surprised at that amountBut I wrote him a check .I won’t pay for a door that is for a doll house This is a very poor place of business they owe me send to collections I have the information I need to show that you lied to me about most all things then you write on the paperwork you sent to me there is no tub kept raisings the dollar amount .the quote was and you just kept saying oh the way the tub is its gonna be more and the water shield more like -dollars none of this was said when we talked on the phone and you gave me a quote of and you know that is true I told you the price you gave me was I was not told a thing that there would be more charges ever .I said to you when you gave me the quote oh that’s good POOR customer service I have to start all over again The guy who came out to put it in only brought in the frame brackets not the shower doors and when he set it on the tub it was so short it looked like it was for a doll house I said I’m gonna complain he told me that I should complain this is all wrong way too short the water will come over the door on to the floor I said I will complain he measured and it was so different than the first guy did .at least inches differentHis name was mike I emailed you about the situation as I would like you to keep this ongoing as they have my dollars and I have no productThe situation is not resolved what so everthey stole my money and did nothingthey are suppose to be the professionals and that is not the case here Sincerely, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: As I state in my letter to Niemen Glass and again in my complaint, we were not told there would be a measuring feeWe were not told when we ordered the door nor when the guy came out to measureIf there was a measuring fee, it should have been disclosed at that timeIt should have been communicated and written on the invoice.From Nieman's letter: "Yes, you are correct, I did not tell you that we charge to measure when you were here because this was not an option for you."This woman has made up a story that works for herMy husband and I were both there ordering from her and she never told us we would be charged for measuringShe did however, say it was easy to install.The reviews on this business strongly indicate a history of changing prices and procedures Sincerely, [redacted] ***

We originally quoted The shower door $plus tax installedIf you look at the work order #all typed information is information given to [redacted] prior to the measure (EF4-56" HT) and all the handwritten items are items discussed after the measureWhen Randy our measurer went out and measured he found that her tile etchad two sizesThe base was smaller than the walls this required fillersThis added $she said okWe also gave her a price for the glass protection of $58.00, this was ok as wellDennelle then discussed with her that we recommended the door be taller as 56" was lower than her shower headThe cost for the 1/4" ht door was an additional $She told Dennelle that this was too much money to add after adding the $for the fillers [redacted] did give the measurer a deposit for $and he gave her a receipt (blue copy of the work order)This copy showed all the typed info and a 56" heightThis was not written in laterThis was not a lie and I am not sure why she did not read this We then ordered the doorThis door is a new product with the manufacturer and the way the etching is they backordered the door several timesWe finally received the door and scheduled the appointmentOur service tech showed up for install and it is his procedure to start with putting up the side jambs 1st and show his customers the door prior to installing so there would not be any problems with the tile if something was not correctMy service man called and said she told him not to install it and that she said it was too shortWe order and follow the paperworkWe did not steal anyone's moneythe door is still here and she has until 6/30/to pick the door up

*** came in to our store asking for a shower door that we did not haveShe showed us a picture we quoted her $for the door she wantedShe scheduled a detail measure and at the time of measure we required a 50% deposit to order (not to measure) She paid and was given a copy of the deposit
paperwork with the information typed on stating 56" height and the paper work also stated no refunds permittedAfter the service man measures, *** gave him the depositThe service man brought back the paperwork and there were additional items needed to make her shower door fitthe 1st one was that her shower stall had t notched in the bottom right and left cornersThis would require fillers and the cost was $We also recommended that she get a taller door because her shower head was at 65" We told her the cost would be $She told us no because that was too much money for the door after the fillersWe also recommended Hydroshield glass coating for $and she acceptedWe ordered the shower door from the manufacturerThis did take quite a while because of the specialty of the door she wantedThe manufacturer did back order this door a few timesFinally we were able to make an appointmentThe service man arrived for the install (this door is 1/4" glass and does not require men install) and started to install and *** stated that the door was too short and not to install, so the service man loaded up and leftWe then called and tried to talk to *** stating the paperwork said 56" Ht, we did not reverse the numbers and the alternate height was 1/4" She was very angry and would not listen and the call endedI sent her a bill for the balance, deducted the labor and the deposit she madeI also attached the manufacturers specs on the door shower all the heights so she could see what was available and what we quoted her onI also sent her a copy of all the notes so she could see what we had spoken to her aboutThere was nothing else we could do as she was done with usShe still has until 06/30/to pick up her doorAlso the balance is still due and it will still go to collections if not paid by 6/23/17.Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.Sandi F*ManagerNiemen Glass Co

We originally quoted The shower door $1264.00 plus tax installed. If you look at the work order #52472 all typed information is information given to [redacted] prior to the measure  (EF4-6 56" HT) and all the handwritten items are items discussed after the measure. When Randy our measurer went out and measured he found that her tile etc. had two sizes. The base was smaller than the walls this required fillers. This added $225.00 she said ok. We also gave her a price for the glass protection of $58.00, this was ok as well. Dennelle then discussed with her that we recommended the door be taller as 56" was lower than her shower head. The cost for the 65 1/4" ht door was an additional $541.00. She told Dennelle that this was too much money to add after adding the $225.00 for the fillers. This was not written in later. This was not a lie and I am not sure why she did not read this.  We then ordered the door.
