This past November I delivered a valuable silk and wool Turkish rug to Blue Sky for cleaning that was purchased on a trip we did years before to Turkey When the rug was returned it was immediately noticed one end of the rug, approximately 1/of the total rug had the dyes of the colors bleached out resulting in dull colors to the rest of the rug and ruinedI contacted the owner, MrStiles and he said he would attempt to re-clean it, somehow believing the colors that were taken out of the rug could somehow be refurbished When he returned it a week later, he said he felt it was now fine I opened the rug in his presence and the colors were still terribly bleached out He then told me due to the fact they were busy, he asked his brother-in-law to actually do the cleaning who does not wok for the company and he would ask him what he did to ruin the rug and take out these colors I took the rug to a well respected Turkish/Oriental dealer in Hyde Park to ask what could have
Last year I hired Sky Blue to clean the carpet in a home we just bought The previous owners left it in bad shape and we were hoping to buy a little time before replacing it After the initial cleaning it smelled and looked just as bad as before so I asked them to come back The owner came and tried cleaning it again, but said that the pet stains were through the padding and that the carpeting would need to be replaced I have since had new carpeting laid in two of the bedrooms I paid for top of the line *** *** *** carpeting with a year stain warranty and top of the line padding with moisture barrier As Sky Blue has STELLAR reviews and a great reputation, I thought that our carpeting was the issue the first time and hired them again Today after they left I went upstairs to check the carpeting There's still horrible pet odor and staining on my carpeting As it is new carpet with a warranty and is only several months old, it should absolutely not have been
