To whom it may concern:I'm sorry that Mr. [redacted] had a problem returning a defective heater. The heater does show sign of misuse evident by "jell}?' around the body of the heater and excessive dirt on the power cord. He states in his complaint that the purchase date is 1/4/2018. look like an 18 day old heater. I also have no sales history for this heater on that date. However, after plugging the heater in it seems to work fine. He was too impatient to wait for my employees to check it out. After verbally abusing my employees he left without the heater.We do require proof of purchase on all returns. Our suppliers and manufacturers also require proof of purchase for all defective returns. We are sorry that he could not produce a receipt.As you can read in his statement of the problem, he can be quite abusive in his verbal communication to my employees. Several of my employees, especially the women, have complained to me about his language to them. Not just on the return, but on alt the occasions that he has been in our store.l, therefore, stand behind my empioyees for their refusal for refund or exchange. ) will retain his old heater in my office for his pickup and I WILL NOT tolerate any inappropriate language upon his return.Sincerely,[redacted]
