Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business
in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
*** Nimmer never stated directly to me that he would not provide free estimate or for what reason Nimmer would not provide*** Nimmer should provide a reasonable reason and call me to discuss
Regards,
*** ***

Although our estimates are free, on occasion we decline to bid on a job.  It has been made clear to the complainant by [redacted] Nimmer and our Office Manager on numerous occasions that we will not be providing an estimate.

This customer called Monday, June, 12, 2017 at 9:17pm.  I regret that we were not able to help this customer in the oppressive heat we experienced in June. The weekend of June 10th and 11th we received 35 calls and every day thereafter we received 10 - 20 new calls.   I can tell you...

that we took all non-emergency calls off the schedule and all of our technicians, installers, office personnel and the owners were working 12-16  hours a day as soon as that heat wave hit.  We could not, to our frustration, service the number of customers who called for service during regular or after hours.  All customers were offered some type of priority, the highest priority going to people with health issues.  Even then, we could not physically get to them all during regular hours.  We also were very honest with our customers about the time frame in which we could get to their home.  Some customers chose to wait (up to two weeks) for service during regular hours, some chose to pay after hours rate to have us come sooner.  Some chose to have another company service them who could get there sooner than we could.  None of of those options is the way we want to do business.  We always want to say "yes, we can get there today".  When we cannot get to a customer's home during regular hours, we do charge after hours rates to compensate our employees for working overtime.  Our after hours diagnostic fee is $178.00, I am assuming that is the fee this customer is referencing that the "pretend" customer was quoted.  In reference to the warranty, the original installation invoice the the customer has attached here, shows that if the equipment is registered timely, the warranty is upgraded to 10 year parts and one year labor.  I will attach the warranty information.  I understand the frustration this customer is expressing over the $600 they paid to another company, and I think we can help with that.  The labor portion of the bill is not in warranty, but any parts that possibly needed replacing are in warranty from Bryant.  If the company that did the work is a Bryant dealer, they will be able to get the parts covered under warranty.  They may need to do a dealer transfer, but another Bryant dealer can definitely get any parts replaced under the Enhanced 10 Year Warranty.  Be advised though, that the Bryant manufacturer’s warranty is contingent upon yearly maintenance.  In reference to the initial installation in 2015, our installations were booked 4 weeks out at the time of your AC failure.  Again, we were honest about the time frame we could get there (allowing for you to get other quotes and possibly get someone else there sooner), and again, we offered to come the soonest possible for us after normal business hours at a higher rate, again, so we can compensate the installers for working overtime.   We also are charged a fee by the credit card company to process payments.  We do not add this fee unless we know a customer wants to pay by credit card, as we do not want to pass that cost on to those paying with checks.   I cannot express strongly enough how sorry I am that we were not able to come out right away during regular hours.  I have attached the waranty information. Another Bryant Dealer would be able to get any parts replaced by them for this customer under warranty, with this information.

The only thing I want from Nimmer Air conditioning to make up for what they did to me not once but twice, also everyone staying in my home both times, is a check for $600 to repay me for doing their job for them and paying for it. Then I don't ever want anything to do with them again! They're sm! Also, when I bought the new air conditioner almost two years ago, it was difficult to fill out the warranty paperwork online- not a user friendly site. One of the women who work in the office at Nimmer had to help me finish the paperwork. So if they're saying that I either didn't fill out the paperwork at all, or not correctly, it's that woman's fault. She should certainly know how to fill out warranty paperwork better than I would!

Business stands by it's original response. They will not be providing an estimate for Mr. [redacted].

The service Technician from Nimmer Heating came here and had our heat back on in five minutes! He was extremely nice, professional and also straight forward. We are extremely pleased that the first company we called never returned our call,he listened, offered options, explained to us in layman terms and will be back to clean and tune up our furnace, also to check out some other potential problems. He was straight out when it came to price which was very affordable. He knows what he's doing and we feel blessed that we called him and was here in twenty minutes after getting out call. We would recommend them to €1:)

I would highly recommend this company to those needing furnace repair. I woke to a burning smell and no heat, and called Nimmer Heating since they had installed the furnace for the previous homeowner about a decade ago. *** answered my call and quickly dispatched *** to take a look at things. *** arrived as scheduled and within minutes had ascertained what the problem was (a burnt-out blower motor). He made the repair, boxed up the worn-out part for recycling (a great alternative to the landfill), and presented me with what I felt was a very reasonable invoice. Both *** and *** were polite, professional, and efficient. I'll be recommending Nimmer Heating to my friends.
