It is unfortunate the situation with this particular customerThe product we sell is not manmade and from order to order their can be slight variations on the materials, since this is a metal and not a manufactured piece of material or productOur customers time line is fairly accurate, but as we
explained to her before, we cannot guarantee an item will work for our customersWe can only supply the material as it's supplied to us and to make sure it meets the standard copper association specificationsThe material we sold to her, meets the qualified product as posted on our website, meets all copper standards as well as ASTM standards, by which we order our product, is laboratory tested to make sure the material meets those specifications as set forth on our purchase ordersWhy the material did not work for our customer, we do not know, especially when it had worked on previous orders years agoWe did ask that she remove a few outer wraps as sometimes in handling, the outer wraps of the coil of material can be damaged, contaminated, etc, but the material still did not work for herThis is a common item for us and we have not had any other complaints, but again, we do not know what customers are using our material for, so the best we can do is supply the material based upon common attributes from the manufacturersSince the material met all those attributes, we could not offer her a full refund on the materialsWe did however offer her a sizable discount to keep the material or a partial refund for returning the materialWe also followed up numerous times with no responseAttached is our communication through *** and it was in our favor after the disputeAgain, we are very sorry that it had come to this and we still do not know why the material failed in her application, but we do know that the material she purchased is exactly the material we suppliedThat can be confirmed the manufacturer and the laboratory that tested the product and that's why we had to affix the restocking chargeIf the material failed and it was due to a failure in the material, as in damaged during shipping, damaged prior to shipping, the wrong item picked versus shipped, she would have had a full refund and the freight would have been paid to fix the problem, per our standard return authorization processUnfortunately the item we supplied was what she purchased and why it failed in her application is due to her application, not the material and again, we are sorry that it had to come to this for final disposition.
