We received a response from the company. They have re-tested the house and found the average radon levels to be above 4. The person who came out said he would have to discuss what the plan will be from here. That was on Thursday 6/11 and we have not heard from them since that date, so the issue is not completely resolved yet.

my installer looked at the issue. the customer has a water table issue that has to be resolved before our system can work. my installer told the owner that the current sump discharge location was not working and that they needed to correct this before our system can work due to the amount of water under the slab of the home. I am waiting for the client to resolve this issue and call me to say it is corrected and the water table is lowered with a properly disscharged sump syatem

We were not informed by RPS of the above request. After receiving the response through the email from the Revdex.com, we will have someone come out and assess the current sump pump system and repair if needed. The radon levels were acceptable with the sump system when it only used a gravity drain and the only change since has been the installation of the sump pump that discharges to the same location that the gravity drain used. I do not understand why a discharge location change will remedy the situation, but we will have someone come and assess the current system as soon as possible and will contact RPS after any necessary work is completed.
