I am rejecting this response because:
Nippon Auto Service isn't being honest about the parts. I have asked them to produce a receipt from their BMW Dealership showing proof that these parts came from BMW and the cost. As far as the purchase of the car, I am co owner and my name is on the bill of sale along with my 19yr old son but that's irrevelant. The fact is we were sold a car with two front axles that needed to be replaced without our knowledge about it. Any reputable dealership wouldn't have sold a customer a car like that without informing them of this problem. Nippon Auto states that their mechanic checks all of their cars out before being sold. How could this be an oversight. I have proof of the cost and where the parts came from along with the cost of the thermostat. I'm just a customer that's unhappy to have dealt with dishonest people. I tried to get this problem resolved earlier before I filed this complaint. However; one of the owners ( Fernando ) wanted me to pay $$1500 for the axles and I refused to. We paid the asking price for this vehicle. Regardless of the outcome, we feel as though Nippon should have been upfront about the problems this car had although it was sold as is but to replace two front axles is a costly job that they should have fixed before selling the vehicle.
