I am rejecting this response because: This response offered no specific resolution and simply stated that the company feels they have no responsibility in this matter The company has attempted to contact me directly, but as we previously tried that route and are still having problems, I prefer any offer of resolution be presented through the Revdex.com This company claims the "thorough" inspection would have led them to find and repair any "major" issues However, even after pointing out the safety issue of brake lights, we were told we were wrong and they were all operational Therefore I am bringing into question the truth to the claim of "thorough" inspection and the fact we were told there was nothing wrong Yet my husband and father took it apart themselves and indeed found and replaced burnt out light bulbs It is true we signed and agreed to the terms of the day warranty It is also true that in my initial inquiry it was never answered whether the radio issues qualified and they just simply quit trying to resolve that issue, again essentially blowing us off stating maybe it just wasn't an optionI sincerely hope this dealership is willing to make a clear, reasonable offer to back their claims of great customer service

We really do want to help come to a conclusion on these issues with you and your your vehicleListed below is what we are willing to do and hopefully this will meet with your approval Reimburse you for brake lights you installed Replace the handle on seat Have sunroof drains cleaned and check for clogs Replace radio with a used one in full working order If you feel comfortable at this point, please call me so we can discuss a time you can bring it into serviceWe will provide you with a loaner vehicle to drive while your vehicle is in service

I am rejecting this response because:
The offer listed for repair only states that any parts replaced would be coveredBrake lights - we already took the time and cost of replacing them ourselvesWe have already glued to repair the handle (we needed to operate the seat and the dealership had already long since stopped replying) Roof leak - no parts were replacedWe were just told the drain had been cleaned outHowever, the next time it rained and our vehicle was parked at an incline in our driveway, it was notSo what will be done differently this time? Still never told whether radio malfunction is coveredWill not be addressed because it was after warranty? Despite company's service record with this vehicle, issue is being blamed on wear and tear
To me, the offer to repair seems like there's not much that would be taken care of
As for replacement - I doubt there is such an option, based on what I have seen there are no used minivans listed for sale by the company, much less one that falls in our parameters

Sean O[redacted] the Service Manager at Nissan North will be calling you on Friday, January 5 to review your recent service visit. Sean is doing some reach with your warranty company to come up with a solution. Thank You,Scott B[redacted]Nissan North614 846-8100

You have many concerns and we have a couple of options we can work with. The first option is bring you vehicle into us and we will address the concerns you have listed in your letter. If we installed parts and they have malfuntioned they will be covered under warranty. We will provide you a loaner at our expense. The second option is for us to get your exaxt mileage and payoff and see if we can find a comparable replacement vehicle for you that works within your permeters.

We do want to help resolve this matter with you and your vehicle. Please let me know if one of these two options will work for you. Feel free to call me so we can set up a time.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I appreciate the assistance you and your organization has provided Nissan/North, Inc. over the years in resolving customer complaint issues.

[redacted] did purchase a 2009 Nissan Quest from...

Nissan/North.  We complete a very thorough mechanical inspection on all of our used vehicles before we offer them for sale. During this inspection any major repairs needing attention would be recognized and fixed. Unfortunately, after the vehicle is sold, items may malfunction.  [redacted] signed documentation for the 90 day warranty.  The form shows what is covered and what is not covered.

I really appreciate [redacted] patronage over the years and would like to discuss how we can work together to resolve this case.  I have reached out to [redacted] via email on 2/9/15 and also called her and left a message to discuss this case.  Without further contact I would consider this case closed.

I am rejecting this response because:  This response offered no specific resolution and simply stated that the company feels they have no responsibility in this matter.   The company has attempted to contact me directly, but as we previously tried that route and are still having problems, I prefer any offer of resolution be presented through the Revdex.com.  This company claims the "thorough" inspection would have led them to find and repair any "major" issues.  However, even after pointing out the safety issue of brake lights, we were told we were wrong and they were all operational.   Therefore I am bringing into question the truth to the claim of "thorough" inspection and the fact we were told there was nothing wrong.  Yet my husband and father took it apart themselves and indeed found and replaced 2 burnt out light bulbs.  It is true we signed and agreed to the terms of the 90 day warranty.  It is also true that in my initial inquiry it was never answered whether the radio issues qualified and they just simply quit trying to resolve that issue, again essentially blowing us off stating maybe it just wasn't an option. I sincerely hope this dealership is willing to make a clear,  reasonable  offer to back their claims of great customer service.

We really do want to help come to a conclusion on these issues with you and your your vehicle. Listed below is what we are willing to do and hopefully this will meet with your approval.
Reimburse you for brake lights you installed
Replace the handle on seat
Have sunroof drains cleaned and check for clogs
Replace radio with a used one in full working order
If you feel comfortable at this point, please call me so we can discuss a time you can bring it into service. We will provide you with a loaner vehicle to drive while your vehicle is in service.

We have reviewed Mr [redacted] letter sent to the Revdex.com of Central Ohio. We do want to work out an resolution with Mr [redacted].  I have spoken to Mr [redacted] and he is going to bring his vehicle to Nissan North on Monday, May 4. Nissan North will have a local Toyota dealership perform a engine...

inspection.
