Dear Ms [redacted] , Thank you for the opportunity to address Ms***'s complaintComplaint ID #: [redacted] We make every effort to be as transparent as possible with all aspects pertaining to the purchase of every vehicle soldAdditionally, in order to meet Nissan's high standards and qualify for Certified Pre-Owned status, all Certified Pre-Owned vehicles retailed, go through a rigorous, comprehensive 167-points inspectionThis also ensures the vehicles safety and reliabilityCustomer satisfaction is our top priorityWhen Ms [redacted] approached us with her concerns, at no cost to Ms***, we performed another inspection on her purchased, Nissan AltimaThis was done with a Nissan Master Certified Technician and our shop Foreman to ensure the vehicle was, in fact, in good working orderThere was no indication during either inspections, nor on the Carfax, the vehicle has been in a wreckBoth, our shop foreman and Nissan Master Certified Technician were only able to find wear including cosmetic dings to the edge of the rail We went even further to ensure Ms***'s peace of mindTo try and better understand what her non-Nissan Certified technician was seeing, our master technician and shop foreman called Ms***'s technician on speaker phoneWhile under the vehicle, we pointed out to the technician, an Altima sits low to the ground and small dings and scrapes are a occurrenceThis outside technician agree with us and said, "Perhaps, [redacted] , misunderstood what I was saying to her." As for the oil leak, we explained to Ms***, the oil leak from the tube seal had been fixedShe may see some residual oil and potentially smell oil until the residual oil burns offThe vehicle did pass the certification process and any items, including the keys, alternator and oil leak, were covered at no cost to herFrom our last conversation with Ms***, it seems all her concerns have been satisfactorily addressedShould you, or Ms*** have any further questions, feel free to reach out to us at 503-251-Respectfully, Paul H [redacted] General Manager, Nissan of Portland

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address Mr*** *** concernsI would like to emphasize, customer satisfaction is our number one priorityI apologize for the delay in our responseWe have diligently been working with Mr*** to come to a resolution regarding his navigation
and extended warranty complaints
Although we cannot find any material during the negotiations to support Mr*** claim about the navigation system, including the additions and removal order- Nissan of Portland has agreed to pay the cost of $for the system to be installedThinh, our service manager, has been working with Mr*** to schedule a time most convenient for Mr*** to complete this install
As for the extended warranty, this is something that is clearly and conspicuously listed in the paperwork Mr*** signedPlease note, we are not the warranty companyThe warranty can be cancelled at anytime and Mr*** will be pro-rated based on the time of purchase and the amount of miles he has put on the vehicleHe can cancel this warranty by coming into the dealership and signing a cancellation orderWe will then send this off to the warranty company on his behalf in which the warranty company will send the refund directly to usFrom there, we will send the refund directly to Mr*** or if there is still a lien holder, it will be sent to themHe is more than welcome to do this during the time he drops off his vehicle here for the navigation system installation- if he still chooses to do so
We are confident Mr*** *** is more than satisfied with our good-will resolutionNissan of Portland is dedicated to continually working with our staff to provide top notch customer serviceFurthermore, MrC*** is no longer employed with Nissan of PortlandWe appreciate the opportunity to explain our position in this matterShould you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to reach out to us
