Nissan of Turnersville Reviews (2)

Review: I walked into Nissan of Turnersville on September 13. I explained to the sales girl [redacted] that I was driving a 2005 Honda. The payments were 384.00 that I am social security. I only make 750.00 a month and those payments were to high. I had front lobectomy surgery for epilepsy. That my credit was not great because of medical bills. I told her I was looking at a Nissan Versa Note the online price was 16.000. I also told her my Honda had 130,000 miles on it and had been well taken care of and the trade in value was 4,000. She told me that online price of the cars are different once you get into the store. She kept showing me cars that were out of my price range. After being there all day she said we have a couple of cars we think your going to like. She pulled around a 2013 Nissan Sentra. I test drove it on the track. It had pushbutton ignition and cruise control. She said this one is 2013. You can get a brand new car. She said the payments will be less.

I went inside to sign the paper work. The guy told me not to worry the payments will be much less then 500.00. I said I hope so. I asked how much they were giving me for my Honda they said 4,000. After signing my life away, I got into the car and noticed the push button ignition was not there. It was a regular ignition. No cruise control either. I showed the contract to my father who said I just paid 21,930.00 for a Unloaded Nissan Sentra. My car payment that was way under 500.00 is 484.85. The 4000 that they gave me for my Honda? It turned out to be 4,000 in rebates and 1,000 for my Honda. I have never been taken advantage of in my life, as I was by this car dealership. My parents tried to talk to them and get my Honda back, we were still in the 30 day period but she said it went to auction. However she was holding a file that said pre auction. Lies, Lies, Lies ... I can't truth from anyone over there.Desired Settlement: Exchange down to a Nissan versa. Their cheaper car. A HONEST DEAL ? IF THERE IS ONE?

Response:

THE CUSTOMER WAS TOLD THAT THE PAYMENT WOULD BE LESS THAN 500.00. THEY BELIEVE THAT THE LESS OPTIONED SENTRA CAME AS A RESULT OF A PAYMENT ISSUE. THEY SHOWED THE SENTRA WITH FEWER OPTIONS AT A REDUCED PRICE. THE CUSTOMER DID RETURN ABOUT TWO WEEKS LATER SAYING SHE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF SHE COULD UN- DO DEAL AND THEY INFORMED HER THAT WE COULDN’T . THE YOUNG LADY'S MOM THEN REQUESTED TO COSIGN TO HELP WITH THE RATE BUT BECAUSE OF A LOW CREDIT SCORE SHE WAS UNABLE TO. SHE WAS INFORMED THE VALUE OF HER HONDA WITH 130,000 MILES WAS NOT NEARLY WHAT SHE OWED AND THE REASON FOR THE LENGTHY STAY WAS THE DIFFICULTY IN OBTAINING FINANCING.

When she left she was thrilled and personally thanked them three times for helping her

They would be willing to try to get her into something cheaper if they could, but its going to take some time to improve her credit scores.

The payment/car/interest all were the best they could get at that time.

The GM is willing to give her some service and parts credit to help with future maintenance if that helps. She has 1 year free already.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:

Ha I thanked them three times ?? WTF? I explained to them the bad credit was due to medical bills. I had temporal lobe surgery five years ago and just got my license back three

months ago. Brain surgery does not come cheap I am afraid. They ran my moms credit, but not my fathers. He is the one who works. They said their credit would be the same? How does that work?

Regards,

The managment at Nissan of Turnersville has provided it's response to the complaint with their account of what happened when the deal was made and offered to help with some maintenance items. If the customer is not satified with the response she is welcome to contact the General Manager, [redacted], at Nissan of Turnersville. Review: I took my Nissan Xterra in for service on 02/27/14. My issue with my car was, I had no heat when the car was in park and idoling & my air condition did not work. I was told that I needed my AC controller replaced & that I needed a resistance as? Part # [redacted]. My service rep [redacted] pointed out several other things I needed including u joints for rear drive shaft. Long story short my total bill was $572.39 and when I got my car back my problem was not fixed! My thoughts are that If my air condition wasn't working that their service team would check it b4 giving it back to me.I also noticed both my side view mirrors were tampered with and the adjustment functionality for them didn't work. Finally the next day taking my kids to school my car stalls out & engin warning light comes on. This happened again & I new I now had another issue to deal with. I've never had this problem b4 and I find it odd that the day I get it out of the shop this happened. I placed 3 calls into [redacted] who was overwelmed with work & short help. He never returned my calls. I finally reached him 11 days later & rescheduled another appointment to get my issues resolved. At initial arrival I was told my air condition problem would be taken care of. He told me he would have to charge me $100.00 for a diognostic test to see why my engine light was on.At days end he called me & changed his tune by telling me the test was free & I had a rusty compressor that had to be replaced & I needed 2 cam shaft sensors & a crankshaft sensor for my car all totaling over $1,000.00. I politely told him not to touch anything & I picked up my car & sought help from my fathers friend who works on cars. He told me I needed a $22.00 part for my crankshaft sensor & he topped my car off with freon & it works fine now.Nissan said it would replace a switch for my sideview mirrors but the part is not in & had to be ordered. I have not herd back from them & don't feel at all comfortable putting my car back in their shop.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for job not completed and switch needed to fix my side view mirrors. I paid Nissan $572.39
