Nissan World of Red Bank

Review: In August I purchased a used car with 34k miles on it from Nissan World of Red Bank. The rear tires were almost worn to the point they would have to be replaced by winter and did not match the two front tires that were almost new. The dealer would not replace the two rear tires because he felt I was getting a good deal on the car, but I purchased it anyway. When I went to replace the two rear tires, I found that I had to purchase matching tires because it was an AWD vehicle and that the car’s transfer case could explode if the tires did not match. I fault the dealer for not selling me a car with proper tires for an AWD vehicle.

Also, when I went to have the vehicle inspected, the brakes did not pass inspection and had to be replaced, which they will not pay for. They were so worn they would not let me drive the car till they were replaced.

I am very upset with Nissan World of Red Bank for selling me an unsafe car. They should never have sold me a car that was an AWD car with tires that did not match which could have caused the transfer case to explode while I was driving it and with breaks that were about to go out. I have never purchased a car from a dealer that had not already been inspected, would not pass an inspection or that was not safe to drive. I firmly believe they took advantage of me because I did not know much about cars.

If you want to purchase a car from Nissan World of Red Bank, beware because they cannot be trusted and take advantage of customers with little car knowledge.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for the brakes.

Review: I purchased a used car on 12-30-2013 - a 2008 Nissan Sentra. It is now 2-25-14 and I still have not received the title.

They sold me a car and they did not have clear title. They had to pay a bank of the prior owner to clear title using my money. That seems rather fraudulent. I have purchased and sold many, many cars, it usually takes a few days or less to receive a new title. This has taken 2 months. Something is not right with this transaction.Desired Settlement: Either receive the title (NOW) or a refund.

Review: While I would like to say that my dealings with the dealership have been pleasant, I can't say that. The level of service completely dropped once they sealed the deal and had my signature and money.

I bought a used car there on Jan. 31st, from out of state and was assured that they would have my plates and registration completed before the abbreviated temporary plate period that NJ offers, which is 20 days.

It is now March 2 and have nothing but an expired temporary plate and zero communication as to when the registration is expected to be completed or when I will receive plates. I could have easily taken care of this myself in **, where I live, but the dealer insisted that they would handle it.Desired Settlement: A fully registered car, delivery of m[redacted] plates and parking permit.

Review: The sticker price for the vehicle a 2013 juke was 23000. nissan charged me 26000. They claimed this was for extras on my car pin stripe etc. I have no pin stripe. They also charged me for an extended warrent for 2200. I did not approve of this charge. They have never given me my signed paper work. I contacted consumer affairs of nissan. They put me in touch with the manager of nissan of red bank. He took my complaint. He has never called me back. I have been to the dealership 3 times trying to get a resolve to this over payment and a copy of my contract. No compliance from the dealership. I contacted the bank for a copy of the loan agreement which I received. The contract has my name signed but it is not my signature.Desired Settlement: I would like to recieve the 3000 I was over charged. I would also want the 2200 I was charged removed from the contract and credited to my account for the extended warrenty which I did not approve or request.

Review: I purchased a vehicle in Nov 2014, I called in Dec 2014 just before Christmas because I realized the amount paid to my loan company was lees than the 5500 allotted in terms of our contract of sale. I was given 11,000 dollars as a trade in for my car. 5500 went to my down payment for the new car. 5500 was to pay off my loan with [redacted] The amount to pay off the loan was less then the money appropriated for this and after many calls I still have not received a payment for the additional amount of just over 200.00. Whenever I call Nissan Chris the finance person tells me he will call the finance department and have a check sent to me, he will not allow me to deal with them directly.
