Review: After checking in with this hotel we were given a room upstairs. On the way up we noticed that the closest stairs were actually blocked off, falling apart and had tape across the openings. They were completely unable to access. The closest entry/exit was on the opposite side of the hotel. However, we were tired and exhausted from a long day of driving and being completely soaked we were just wanting to get to our room and rest for the night. Because we were so tired and had not eaten we went to get something to eat first before retiring to the room fully. After getting something to eat we went up to our room and found the TV not working. We went back to the office and told Lucas what the situation was and he put us in a room 2 doors down from the last. After checking into that room I went to fill the tub to take a bath and noticed hair (seemingly pubic) in the bottom of the tub. Not a little or just a few but the whole bottom of the tub. I was soooooo disgusted that we went back downstairs and told Lucas that we wanted to have a refund as we did not feel safe or secure staying in such a hotel. After having to deal with this type of uncleanliness we did not feel comfortable staying in such a hotel. We felt that with having to ask twice for an appropriate room, clean and free of other peoples nastiness we didn't want to take a chance on a third room. We felt this hotel was MORE than unhealthy and MORE than unwilling to work with us on refunding our money although we had JUST checked in and had not bothered anything within both rooms but maybe placing the floor mat on the floor in the bathroom. We feel this hotel should be looked into for their hygene, cleanliness and safety of their residents. If any emergencies were to arise the residents on "our" side of the hotel would have a very difficult time exiting the upper floor. Although this hotel did not offer a refund we chose to go to a completely clean and friendly competitor who was more than willing to give us a smile and a clean room.Desired Settlement: Due to safety and cleanliness we feel we have a right to a refund of our hotel expenses. We were not in either room for more than 5 minutes each and feel that the staff was more than rude in dealing with us as a customer and certainly NOT concerned about customer satisfaction.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9505420, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. However, I would like to add to this that my boyfriends card was the one that was charged in the amount of $52 and his name is Kelvin Hunt.

Review: I reserved a room at Nite's Motel for 4/3-4/5 for my son and me. We checked in on 4/3/13 and left the room for the day the morning of 4/4/13. We returned that evening and noticed the beds unmade, no clean towels, trash cans full, essentially NO MAID SERVICE. Additionally the phone in the room was disconnected, several light bulbs burnt out, GFCI at bathroom sink broken, etc. Complained at office desk and was told "the maids must have just got lazy; the Manager would be back in 15 minutes and would take care of the other concerns. After 1 hour the Manager hadn't shown up so I asked for and was given a different room. This room had similar maintenance issues but the linens were clean. I told the office attendant we would stay an additional night (4/5/13) ONLY if the room received expected maid service, ie clean towels, beds made thash emptied, etc. The attendant made a written note of this and assured me it would be ready to occupy. We left the room the morning of 4/5/13 and returned early that evening. The room had not received maid service as promissed, so we decided to head home. At checkout I was told by the attendant that I would be charged for that day and it had already been run on my credit card. I asked to talk to the Manager but the attendant talked to the Manager instead. She told me he would cut the fee in half to $35. I told her we weren't staying the night and wasn't goint to pay even half price for a dirty room. I then asked to personally talk to the Manager and was told by the Attendant that "he is too busy to talk to you". I gave the Attendant the keys and left.Desired Settlement: I want Nite's Motel to credit my bankcard for whatever amount they charged to it on 4/5/13.
