I have more than just this video. If you could contact me at either phone or email.
07/21/2020
Tom S was contacted by me through***. He had acquired back & we met. Tom comes to where the car is located and tells me it has a fuel pump issue once his mechanic arrives. His mechanic is some valvoline lube tech Who's on his first day of the job. After learning the fuel pump was the issue, Tom acquired $300 from me up front & went to get the part. (The wrong part) after installation he texts me didn't even call. My car is still not working. I have messages, videos, & admissions by his "mechanic" who admits Tom is a liar, not a real business man, & stole my money. Not only that, his great mechanic puts my battery on wrong and blows 6 fuses.

Desired Outcome

He needs to refund my $340 he stole from me since he didn't deliver any service what so ever.

Repaired alternator and radiator as a misdiagnosed treatment to my cars electric issues. Car didn't need either they scammed me.
7/13/2020 Owner of company TOM S came to diagnose issues on my 2006 Audi A4 (60$). Came to the conclusion the alternator (200$ PART 140$ LABOR) was bad even though I just replaced the battery and explained the problem was electrical (windows, ac, power, transmission, all electrics had problems). Next day had his worker Chris come out and replace the alternator and radiator (340$ LABOR/PART) due to a "leak" on the radiator and the initial issues. The worker replaced both parts and they still couldn't get the car to start without attaching it to their truck and jumping it. Car lasted four days with the battery now charged from the jump and then died again. Called Tom and he said "We cant help you" and then hung up on me. Took this car into dealership and they told me the issue had nothing to due with the issues Tom and his company replaced. This is outrageous and cost me a total of 740$ for repairs misdiagnosed! The con man wouldn't start the projects without the payment before for the parts, when every mechanic i've been to charges you after the work is done. I want a refund this company is a scam and it's outrageous they can be in business with this unlawful practice.

Desired Outcome

Refund 740$ parts and labor they misdiagnosed the inspection and repaired parts not having problems.

The owner Tom, was paid $970 dollars for car repairs and left my car in worst condition than it was before he performed the repairs.
The repair company came out on Monday July 13th around 11am to perform a new car assessment. I was told that I had to have my spark plugs replaced and that one of engine coils needed to be replaced. They said that I needed front and back brakes and a coolant flush. On the 13th, they replaced the spark plugs, and the front brakes. The technician Chris stated he needed a part, left and did not return. I paid $550 on this day. When I got into my car, I saw that there were lights on that were not there before they arrived. I called them back and spoke to the Tom the owner, the owner apologized and sent out a technician the same day. When the he returned he had to reconnected a wire to make my service light go off. I asked him for the brake pads that was changed out, he told me that he'd thrown then away. I texted Tom and he made the technician go and retrieved them and sent a picture stating these were the old brakes. Tom then stated that he would take care of back brakes. I texted on Tuesday July 14th to ask when service would be performed. Tom responded back asking what time I would be available on Wednesday July 15th. I advised him in the morning, his only was response was okay. I texted him around 10:15am and he stated that the technician Chris advised him that the wheel barings were bad and would I like to add that service. I stated if it was necessary then yes. He advised me that he would let me know the price as he was on his way to O'Reilly auto store. He arrived around 11:30. They performed service on my back brakes. Tom left his technician stating that he was leaving to grab additional parts. Tom never returned. The technician performed tasks. The technician Chris completed work around 2:10pm. We take a test drive however I stated to Chris that the car was not riding the same. Chris stated that Tom had purchased the wrong part and that Tom would reach back out to me. I inquired as to why the incorrect part was installed on my car. At this point my ABS light is on and I am unable to move my car without the traction control being turned off. I reached to Tom regarding these issues. He has no longer responded to any of calls or texts. I called from another number to reach him and was able to speak to him. During this call, he hung up and then proceeded to text and threaten to block my number if I continued to reach out.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund due to lack of service

Hello meet Tom the Scammer! What can I say I got taken by this guy Tom. Appeared very nice at first. Paid $260 for a EGR valve issue that he diagnosed after the third inquiry. 2 visits in total. Vehicle seemed fine day 1. After driving the vehicle it began to do the exact same thing. Nothing was fixed I have the same 3 problems I reached out to him about. Don't answer phone calls or texts. When he does text back it's to say he'll call back with a customer now. At this point just want a refund. He can't fix anything for me. Avoid this fake mechanic. I hope the reviewer who plan to sue win and Tom lose his cert/license to Scam people.

I understand your frustration

I told Tom the exact part I needed. He stated he could fix it and didn't even buy the correct part and charged me 500.00
I needed a heater hose assembly in my car. Tom has originally quoted me 350.00 however I found someone who could get the part from the dealer and tots cost was 300.0. Tom stated he could match the price he also stated "I don't know why anyone would get a part from the dealer". I told her the part wasn't available at Orilley however he stated that he found it by putting in my car year. Tom stated to me that he fixed my car however he didn't even put in the right hose. I clearly told him the chrome hose had a hole in it and now the chrome hose isn't even on my car. Tom also stated to me he would leave my originally parts in my car and send me pictures because I was at work however he did neither. I clearly told Tom I could get the part for 200 and have someone put it on for 100 however he didn't want to loose me as a customer and he could get to me fast so I went with him. After the 300 I paid him he stated I needed additional hoses and asked for 200 more dollars to be cash app because of an uncomfortable conversation he had with my mom via phone. I cashed app him and asked him kindly to complete job. The next day He text me back and said done. After getting in my car in less than 3 minutes it ran hot. I called and asked him to come back out and they did. He stated the hose was loose however it was fixed. Once again after getting in the car in less than 3 min it ran hot again. I called him a few times and he never called me back he only sent text because he is a scam and a coward. He took my 500.00 and didn't put on the parts I requested and then don't it incorrectly. I had to take my car to Dodge and pay another 747.00 because of his incompetence. I am requesting a full refund of 500.00. This is unfair when I told Tom exactly what I needed and told him I could get it done for 300.00 with the original parts from dodge and he goes to Orielly and not even put the part on at all that I needed. I have the entire text conversation that I can provide as well. Beware, Tom is a scam artist!

Tom first came out on Monday feb 10th 2020, then today feb 12 2020. Then he blocked me from his phone.

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund

This mobile mechanic never completes my job with pay he just took $2,880 of my money and disappeared I can't locate him. And he won't answer any of my calls he just text and gives me false dates that he will return. I am in the process of filing a law suite on him.

Took $803.00 from me and car was never fixed.
On 12/28/2019 Tom S, came to my job to fixed my car. He said it would be $400.00 so he cash app requested me. I end up pressing ok. But I know my bank wasn't set up so I send him $293 from my bank that was set up and I went to the ATM and give him $110 cash. Less than an hour later, he said my car was fix. Later before I left work I realized my other bank was negative 400 and the cash app for some reason sent it. So I try calling Tom so he can sent it back since I paid twice. No answer. I left work and started to drive and my car was doing the same thing and I didn't make it far. I called and called and no response. My car is not fixed and I'm left negative $803 from him. Also cannot work the next day because of not having a car.

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund.

Beware of this company and the scammer TOM!
I'm a single mom of 3. Got his info from Craigslist (big mistake) Spoke with Tom on the phone who said he knew exactly what the problem is. He comes to my home checks under my hood and says it's the fuel pump which would be 270 including parts. ALL of which he requested up front. One hour later he says it's done and everything is fixed but I need gas so he attempts to take my car to the Gas station which is a fail because my car was not fixed and the fuel pump was not the problem. He says oh sorry to tell ya but it's now the battery so I pay for a new battery he clears all the lights on my dash and says that now the car is good. 1 hr later the car is broken down yet again. I called him and all he said was well I have no clue what the problem is. 400$ later and not one thing on my car is fixed. He simply made me buy parts I didn't need and brushed me off after learning that after ONE hour of his "repairs" nothing was fixed. He also claimed that he had a 1 year warranty for all his services which is clearly a lie! Don't waste your time with this company.

Desired Outcome

Refund. He did absolutely nothing and claimed to have a warranty on his services'

Mobile Mechanics failed for the THIRD try to fix the issue with our brakes, when in fact it was their fault - the pad right front on backwards.
10/21/19 - Tom showed up to fix my AC and do a brake job on our 2005 Chrysler 300 - after working on the car, and nobody ever test driving it, the keys were thrown on the seat and the mechanic left - he didn't even have the courtesy to knock on the door. They are a mobile mechanic, so the work was done here at my house. Upon driving the car in the next day or so, we noticed a horrible shaking as we got above 35 mph. I immediately let Tom know, and a second appointment was scheduled for 10/23/19. Upon arrival and inspection, he informed me the rotors needed replaced. I asked why they weren't looked at the first time when the pads were put in - he said it wasn't his best brake guy. After doing the rotors on 10/23/19, when I drove the car the next day, there was a HORRIBLE noise coming from the right front. I immediately texted Tom - and was told they are closed on the weekend, and he would see me Monday morning - never showed up at all Monday. I had to text to find out where he was. I got some BS excuse (I know because it changed today). He said he would be here between 9:30 and 10 - showed up at 10:30. Proceeded to tell me now I needed calipers as well, for at least $200+ additional - after $500 already spent on the brakes. When I questioned him why this wasn't done with the rotors - he told me they found nothing when the test drove the car - which they NEVER did - as a matter of fact, when Tom handed me the keys on the 23rd, he TOLD me they did NOT test drive it.
As it turns out, the right front inner brake pad was installed incorrectly - backwards actually, to which Tom said was impossible to do. He then went back and forth saying we removed parts and reinstalled them incorrectly. He first said he would come take a look, and then every excuse in the book flew out from him, until he finally said he wouldn't be able to come back until at least later, if not tomorrow. At this point, I am having the car fixed correctly by a CERTIFIED mechanic. Tom actually asked me "What medication I was On" because I had the audacity to raise my voice and question what he was saying the problem actually was. He cursed me out (although he will say I did it to him first, which is false).. He got nasty and belligerent saying he wouldn't touch my vehicles now. I told him in a text message, after he said he wouldn't come by and take a look at the error made by his mechanic, that I wouldn't let him touch my car again, lest something else gets broken.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of the $500 I paid Tom to do this brake job - which after THREE times, he still has not fixed.

Very happy customer saving over $400 on a major car repair.

Owner of the business demanded payment for repair when repair was not completed, then threatened when refused to pay.
Repair was ordered. Mechanic came to the house. Vehicle was working, but clutch was tight. Mechanic began working on vehicle and broke a different part. While mechanic was out buying a replacement, owner came to my house and wanted payment. I did not pay due to repair not being completed. Mechanic came back and worked on vehicle for a total of 6 hours first day. Left and vehicle was still not drivable, but owner demanded over the phone payment. Once again, I did not pay. Next day, mechanic came over at 11 am. Worked on vehicle. At 2pm, owner arrived at my house and demanded payment stating that the clutch that was in working order the day before, now needs to be replaced and I need to pay him the $220 that was the contracted price for the repair, even though the repair was NOT completed. When I refused to pay, he began threatening me, until I stated that I would be calling the police.

Desired Outcome

We now have to contact another mechanic to repair what this business broke and would like the money that we have to pay the new mechanic returned by this company.

This is a total false claim not even close to the truth at all we put approximately 12 hours of Labor to try to help this guy out when another mechanic he hired put the clutch in and then never helped him back claiming he found another job so he couldn't come back and fix the problem we went try to help him but one of the original Mechanic messed this job up not us but we put all our effort into it almost 12 hours of Labor I never received any compensation he seems to be upset because we advised him he needed an entire new clutch and he didn't agree with that he was drunk and belligerent I threw a beer can at one of my employees and was stumbling all over the yard an extremely false claim thank you

Customer Response • Feb 25, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
First off. I don't drink at all. So there isis no way that I could have been drunk or thrown a beer can at this person. Although it is true that they spent 12 hours at my house, did not fix the truck, broke the clips on my fender well, sprayed my engine and the the truck with brake fluid, as well as the driveway .I had to hire another mechanic to come and clean up the mess that was left of my truck from this "company". Not only was the job done correctly, but was done in less than one hour. The person .Who answered thus complaint has slandered my name. The reason he left my property was because he was demanding payment for a job that was not complete so I told him that I wpuld be calling the police. My neighbors can vouch for the fact that this person is not telling the truth. He own employee should remember that I felt Sorry for the amount of time that he was spending on my vehicle so I took him to subway and bought him lunch. The owner was demanding cash payment an hour after his mechanic began the job way before the job was finished. Which it never was completed by this business.

I was a customer in the past, and recently this past summer I called with a minor issue for my vehicle, Tom was very nast and rude, and didn't give me an opportunity to tell him what was wrong with my car, and he hung up on me, I was totally shocked, I guess he was to busy at the gym like he always is for me to explain what was wrong with my car, and ask a couple of questions. I will not be using mobile mechanics of orlando ever again.

Unfortunately David called after hours and I was with a scheduled physical therapy session from my herniated disc in my neck suffered from my prior military service. I proceeded to call him back after my session and he screamed at me and hung up like he was on some sort of medication....very concerning that people complain about such frivolous things.....

Customer Response • Jan 03, 2019

This must be a common practice for the this guy to lie about people putting in their reviews. First of all he never called me back to inform me that he was at a medical appointment, I never yelled at him or hung up any phone call, and second when I first met Tom about 4 years ago he never mentioned anything about prior military service which veterans never have any problem letting anyone about their service, I served in 2 different branches, and I'm very proud of it. Ths only thing he ever mentioned that he was originally from Georgia and he moved to Florida. I checked other reviews about this guy, and he has a habit of insulting people by saying they are off their medication which is very insulting, and it's a defam9of character. Bottom line this man is a liar, and a poor businessman who cannot be trusted. He claims he was in a an appointment for therapy with a physical therapist, but when you look at his social media pictures, he looks like someone that doesn't have any issues, plus he's always at the gym, I'm not impressed, and I will definitely never be calling him for any services, and if he continues to claim that I'm off my medication, I will sue him for defamation of character, and misinforming the Revdex.com. Thank you for your time.
