Desired SettlementRequest refundBusiness Response Mr. [redacted] attempted to return the product to[redacted] who noticed that the[redacted] box, which has a factory seal, was cut open.[redacted] called [redacted] and I to verify our return policy. He then informed Mr. [redacted] of our policy. We have a policy posted in 2 different places in our store and on the bottom of the sales receipt that states ALL SALES FINAL! Attached is an example of the following printed information on the sales receipt. ALL SALES FINAL! Returns accepted for store credit only if un-opened. No returns accepted for electronic devices. Warranties to be covered by manufacturer. Thanks for shopping with us! Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Even though there is a sign saying all sales final, it was not mentioned to me during the sales process. And, I mentioned during my conversation with the owner it was for my 9yr daughter and I was not sure she would like it. So, the owner knew he was selling me a product I couldn't return knowing there was a possibility I might bring it back and get something else. Point is, the simulator cost almost $300 and had I known it was a final sale, I would not have purchased it. All they had to do was put it back on the shelf. There are many signs posted in this store. In fact due to the nature of this business, the store is cluttered and a small sign was not noticeable. Furthermore, it is not best practice to sell everything as Final. Poor business practice!!When is the customer wrong in business? Final Business Response
