Nittany Crossing Apartments

Review: my daughter and three other college Students leased an 4 bedroom apartment. They all were charged $299 for amenities,bus pass. After one month of their time at the apartment the amenities where shut down and never reopened for the rest of the lease.When we complained they always stuck to the same story that the $299 was the bus pass. Well the bus pass this year was $40 at her new place next door to Nittany Crossing. And the wonderful amenities are included in the rent. The second issue came down to get our security deposit back. The girls moved out in early May 2013 and one of the roommates decided to sub-lease out her room and never informed the others of this action. The apartment was fully cleaned when they all moved out. The sub-leaser moved in the apartment and made a mess of the kitchen,living room and bathroom which was cleaned and she did not maintain these area's. We were told by [redacted] that we would have to steam clean only my daughters bedroom carpet(which I did) and not to worry about the rest of the place since the sub-leaser moved in. Today Sept 6,2013 we received a break down of the security deposit and we were charge for the cleaning of the whole apartment other than my daughters bedroom. I called Nittany Crossing and spoke with the new Manager [redacted] and she said that it doesn't matter that a sub-leaser made a mess that my daughter and the others were responsible for re-cleaning the place again. When I spoke with [redacted] about the amenities that where closed down and we paid $299 for the use of, she read the same script that was the bus pass.My problem with them is,we over paid by $259 for services that were not able to be used and $30.75 for clean area's that the sub-leaser made a mess of.Desired Settlement: We want a refund for services promised and not delivered and for the cleaning bill.
