I am formally rejecting the response from the California Board of Medical AssistantsI believe it is unreasonable to wait four (4) months for an approval to take an examination since my application should have been rightfully approved long before this writing.I am not "banned in the medical capacity" by an authority, government or otherwise, nor is there any reliable information that would support that conclusionThe contrary is trueI am statutorily permitted and eligible under the Business and Professions Code to move forward with any chosen and rightfully earned credential, medical ( 2221(b) & 2307) or otherwise.It would be both reasonable and germane for the California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants to release their internal policy and procedures as it relates to my specific matter and complaint.I was initially and unjustly refused permission to take their examination for the following fallacious reason, " we suspect it is difficult to restrict your clinical activities given your medical background..."[redacted] , CCMA(National Healthcare Assocation, # [redacted] )Windsor, CA 95492-
CCBMA received Mr. [redacted]'s application on June 6, 2015 to sit for the California Certifying Board for Medical Assistants. Mr. [redacted] has also contacted our office several times prior to receiving his application by phone and email. His application was denied on...
7/6/15. Mr. [redacted] is a medical doctor that surrendered his licence. CCBMA had to contact the Medical Board of California determine if he was banned in the medical capacity. We have followed our internal policy and procedures. CCBMA received his appeal on 7/14/15. I informed Mr. [redacted] on July 16, 2015 that the appeal process can take up to 120 days. CCBMA is still reviewing his appeal. CCBMA has a board meeting scheduled for 10/24/15 (well within the 120 day time frame). CCBMA has not at this time granted permission to sit for the certification examination.
