Since October 2015, I have been trying to resolve a billing dispute with Nixon Uniform Services and Medical WearThe two main issues that are at the center of this dispute focus on: the poor delivery of services during the length of the contract and conveying wrong information about not being to opt-out of the contract
The latter violates New York State's Automatic Renewal Statute (General Obligation Law 5-)This statute enables any company, business, or individual in New York State receiving services the opportunity to opt-out or cancel a contractFurthermore, on several occasions, I tried to cancel the contract at the of its termination dateNixon said that the contact would automatically be renewed, which is clearly a violation of New York State Law In addition, Nixon on several occasion delivered the wrong set of scrubs and often forgot to piand deliver cleaned scrubs in a timely mannerFinally, there currently is an unpaid balance of $Even in monthly

I worked with Nixon for several years and I contacted way in advance over the phone our representative and the customer service and reported the cancellation of my contract after 4/yearsThey stopped the service after 3rd attempt but after few months I received a bill for $ and they called it "a buy out fee" or something like thatThe customer service and our representative refuse to help us saying "it is out of their hands" because I didn't give written notice
I called several times and our representative knew very well in advance that I am canceling the service
He claims in the contract it says automatic renewal but I know in New york is illegal and a phone call is valid as a notice of cancellationThey cannot deny they got the notice, because they canceled the service

I have been in dispute with Nixon for over a year in regards to unauthorized orders, duplicate charges and charges of jackets that have never been deliveredIn August I spoke with *** in regards to charges of $2,I noticed on my invoices dated 8-3-16, 8-10-and 8-17-charges for Jackets I never ordered, not only that, I also notice that each invoice had duplicate chargesWhen I spoke with *** in regards to this matter he said that his delivery person Rashaad placed the order after he spoke with one of my employeesI advised *** that he can not take orders from Staff members and then bill the company*** is very much aware of this, because he has met with me personally to place orders*** advised me that he was aware and he will take care of the SituationHere we are a year later and the invoice continues to come
Even with that issue still unresolved we have continued to received laundered jackets at both of our locationsThis jackets are faded, torn

We had a five year contract with Nixon to provide us with towels and cleaning of towelsThe contract was ending in and we called months in advance to notify NIXON that we would like to make sure that our contract is not renewedThe telephone operator confirmed that she had noted this request in their systemOur deliveries of towels and cleaning service have continued in to We have made multiple requests to have the service terminated with no successToday, 04/30/2018, a manager named Dan finally returned our call only to update us that our contract was renewed until He stated that there is no record on file of our request to cancel a renewalHe also admits that they do not record customer callsDan stated that the only way to stop the service is to pay a cancellation fee

Review: We were utilizing Nixon for our uniform laundry services. Nixon was not providing the quality of service that we required, nor were they keeping to the quote they originally offered us. As such, on March 3, 2014, in email correspondence with [redacted], Collections Associate, at Nixon Uniform Services, we agreed to a fee of $36.05 weekly to continue services. We set up an automatic bill payment and continued to pay these fees. This continued without much issue until Feb 2015 when [redacted], the Service Manager informed us that we have a large outstanding balance. I referenced the email from March 3, 2014 but to make a long story short we were not able to come to an agreement moving forward so we canceled our services with Nixon.

Nixon has made NO attempt to pick up any inventory which was on site since we stopped services with them.

Today, I received a letter requesting a final balance of $3,581.13 for both "non-returned and non-returnable product" for services for 11-4-14 to 2-10-15.Desired Settlement: Nixon can come by any time to pick up their gowns. We have been holding them in our shed for months now and would love to get rid of them.

Nixon needs to clear our balance, as we had paid according to our agreement - in writing - from March 3, 2014
