NJ Safety Training & Placement

Safety Training and Placement are advertising a guarantee of job placement hourly, daily, part time or full time with the completion of an OSHA 10 hour training. The company invited me to come into the office to discuss their placement. They indicated that they guaranteed employment with benefits and union workers commitment once I completed the OSHA training. They stated I needed to pay upfront a $299.00 service fee and a $140.00 registration fee to begin my guarantee of work. I paid and was given a receipt. I have been out of work due to the pandemic and expressed my desperation to find work. They said no problem. I completed the OSHA training online in 3 days and alerted Safety Training and Placement. They emailed me recruitment addresses- Express work and Safety force and instructed me to apply through these company online. I did. I called both companies to follow up once I completed their applications and called for interviews. The companies informed me verbally that they have received numerous calls from consumers being referred from Safety Training & Placement and that they do not have work. They stated that they had no affiliation with Safety Training & Placement. These companies also used the word “fraud “ apologized, and stated they were disappointed that Safety Training was taking advantage of people and taking their money promising employment. I contacted Safety Training and they said they did not understand, that perhaps I did not complete the application correctly. When I asked for their company head email and fax number they refused to give me it and hung up on me. They are now not responding to my calls. I am writing to you with the hopes that you investigate this low life company making empty promises to desperate people during this very sad unprecedented time. I do not want others being swindled for the little bit of money they have saved By this low life company. Please advise.

I payed full cash in there building there fake company . Gave me a recipe and all and told me in my face I can’t get no refund and I gotta wait for a online class that I been waiting for 3 weeks now . I spend my last check for something I really thought I was getting I always wanted my osha license and now I’m stuck broke . I have kids and now they don’t ask my calls or nothing now that’s wrong now I lost out of money . Like come on now it’s hard outhere and they just taken people money they need to be shut down now I’m broke until I can find another job not fair at all

I found a job on indeed that informed me all jobs and positions they have available start pay at 17.00 and after paying 299.00 dollars and completing OSHA required test through them I would be guaranteed work. After paying my money and following the request of them to take the OSHA required test. They than told me that no work is guaranteed and have been giving me the run around for my money and are not helping me locate a job. There sending me to places that do not require me to pay for OSHA 10 testing. I was informed through the agencies they sent me to that to apply to them I do not have to pay for osha 10 testing it is provided .They said the business that has sent me here has been changing there name and scamming people for a few years. After contacting the complaint they said I will not and con not receive my OSHA Certification and that have no records of me applying or attending any class which I have receipts for.

They promise you job placement and permit work when they first got in contact wit me they told me it would be a $100 dollar fee to take osha classes so I’m certified to work for the company’s they have contracts with after going to the interview I was told it would be another $199 dollar deposit a total of $299 I was ok with it because I was promised a job paying 16-19 dollars a hour , along with a resume they would make if didn’t already have one soon after finishing classes for osha they said they would call Tuesday or Wednesday to give you your job location I then received a email stating I would have to call them I’ve went to several of the companys they have “ contracts “ and they’ve all told me that they don’t have contracts with the company they were just having open hire interviews that’s all they keep sending me to open interviews I’ve been getting the run around even though I was promised work
