NJM Bank

Review: On 10/25/2015 I was involved in a no-fault accident. My husband was driving and I was the passenger when out of nowhere a tour truck hit us sideways on the passenger side. Because we had just gotten married, I was still not included in my husband's insurance, which is NJ Manufacturers. NJM refused to pay for my medical bills. They argued that I had car insurance and should go through them. Well, I did have liability but did not have PIP included. I had that insurance since I lived in Texas but because I had no idea NJ has other laws regarding this issues, I did not add the PIP. I was told by my insurance that since I had no PIP with them, my husband's insurance should be responsible for the medical bills incurred. No matter how we tried to talk to NJM, they refused to pay any medical bills. I am now stuck with a $550.00 ambulance bill that I feel is so outrageous for me to be responsible to pay when I was only a passenger and even worse, the driver, my husband, was not even at fault.

Because I do not work at present time, I am not able to pay this bill but forced to borrow money to pay for something that is not my fault at all.Desired Settlement: I would Like NJM to pay for this bill. They are refusing to pay these bills arguing that I was not in my husband's insurance, but that is not how it works. They are and should be liable for any medical bills incurred.
