I am rejecting this response because: I personally had called OMI BEFORE purchasing this mattress and ONE OF THEIR OWN REPRESENTATIVES TOLD ME THAT THE BOXSPRING FOUNDATION I HAVE WOULD BE FINE AND WOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM WITH THE MATTRESS OR THE WARRANTY
OMI replaced Ms ***’ original mattress at no cost despite the product warranty having been voided by Ms [redacted] herself due to improper support of the mattress by a third-party wood foundation (as opposed to a boxspring)To ensure proper support of the replacement mattress, the retailer whom Ms [redacted] purchased the original mattress from provided her with an appropriate, matching boxspring foundation also at no costShipping for both the mattress and the boxspring foundation were prepaid by OMI to ensure Ms [redacted] had no cost associated with this replacement transaction.The replacement mattress and free boxspring were inspected by OMI prior to shipment and are confirmed to be free from defectNo damage was indicated to have occurred to the replacement mattress or boxspring during transport.Ms [redacted] should coordinate with her local retailer to please return the original product to OMI as per the terms of replacement.In summary, OMI replaced the original mattress despite the warranty having been voided, provided a free boxspring, paid for shipping from CA to NJ and is yet to receive back the original product that was claimed to be defective.OMI stands behind its products and has made every effort to resolve this situation
