We are delivering the mirror in the next day or so, at that time we would have fulfilled or end of the contract I apologize on behalf of NL Wilson, but am very glad that your mirror was found

NL WILSON DID GIVE A NOT TO EXCEED PRICE, THE PRICE INCLUDED $WORTH OF PACKING, DAY OF THE MOVE YOUR ITEMS WERE NOT ALL READY TO MOVE AND OUR TEAM HAD TO PACK MORE ITEMS THEN AGREED TO IN THE ORIGINAL PRICE. THERE FOR CHANGING THE AGREEMENT PRICE AND HAVING TO CHARGE MORE FOR
PACKING. *** SIGNED FOR THE PACKING SERVICES AND WANTED US TO PACK EVERYTHING SO IT WAS READY. WE DID AS REQUESTED. THEN KNOWING THE PACKING MORE THEN ESTIMATED OUR MOVERS WORKED EXTREMELY FAST TO TRY AND HELP WITH COST, FASTER THEN NORMAL! AND THEY FINISHED THE MOVE HOURS FASTER THEN ESTIMATED. MAKING THE TOTAL BILL $HIGHER, EVEN THOUGH THE PACKING WAS $MORE THEN ESTIMATED. I DO NOT FEEL A REFUND SHOULD BE GIVEN FOR THE SERVICE PROVIDED AND SIGNED FOR. WE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO COMPLETE YOUR MOVE AND KEEP IT AS CLOSE TO THE ESTIMATE AS WE COULD WHILE WE HAD TO DO EXTRA PACKING AND USE EXTRA MATERIALS. IF WE STILL HAVE OF YOUR PADS PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I AM HAPPY TO SEND PADS OUT TO YOU RIGHT AWAY. I WAS NOT AWARE OF THIS AT ALL

The loading was done and completed and you saw the way the guys loaded the trailer At this time there was no complainants about the guys stacking items The trailers are supposed to be loaded tight to make everything fit in as little space as possible The crushed boxes are a
result of improper packing and less the par boxes used for packing Please note in the pictures the only moving boxes used were the wardrobes The other boxes packed are thin cardboard that just don't hold up well in the move, yes they are free, but this is typically the result With the boxes being crushed were there any results of damage in side those cartons The gouge on the dresser appears to be the only damage that we see in th pictures other then the crushed boxes We have reviewed this claim and will settle the bases on the basic valuation that was included in the moving quote$per pound" Dresser's approximate weight at pounds equals $for settlement Also please note that typically when a trailer is loaded by one company, driven by another and unloaded by another it is hard to determine if the damage was caused by one or the other The dresser appears to be loaded and padded in a safe spot with card board in front of it according to the pictures. This claim is being settled at basic valuation, based on what the shipper choose at the time of signing and booking the move.  $.60 per pound was there pick, the frig is being settled at $180.00, based on the shipping of #300lbs, which is higher then normal.  The ladder has also be located...

and instead of shipping the ladder we have given the option to replace it for the cost of the new one.  $225.99 plus tax will be included on this settlement for that.  I also need you to know that the damage to the frig, was a couple spots on the side and front.  The inventories on the frig that were taken at origin also list damage that comes pretty close to matching what is described at destination.  But being a repeat customer we are doing this settlement as a goodwill.  Further questions or if anyone needs copies of the paperwork, I am happy to provide.

Tell us why heA truck was sent to pick up the goods on 6/22 which had enough space for the estimated weight.  Unfortunately the weight went higher which created the overflow.  We worked diligently with Stevens Van Lines to get the items picked up from us and shipped to our agent in FL with...

delivery out.  Due to the 4th of July holiday there was a delay in getting the goods picked up from us.  The gentleman that gave Ms. [redacted] the initial information regarding a delivery date of her remaining goods was misinformed by the information given to us by Stevens Van Lines and he was not the correct person to be giving out that information which we have addressed internally and are resolving this for future.  Her goods were never abandoned or on the side of the road, that was never the case.  Once Ms. [redacted] talked to the correct person in our office, she was given all the correct delivery information.  Ms. [redacted] at that time was given the exact date her goods would be delivered to our agent in FL and when the agent in FL would be delivering them to her home.  She also informed this person of the mattresses not being packed and wanting a refund.  This person immediately told her we would issue her a refund which we have done already.  She did not tell her that she would have to deal with the company that was delivering the rest of her goods.All claims are handled through Stevens Van Lines and Ms. [redacted] has received all the necessary claim forms to fill out and return for review.  Claim will be settled appropriately and according to the contract with her.  re...

Repairs to the furniture were made and completed to the level of protection this shipper had, [redacted] had went above and beyond for [redacted].   The shipper took basic valuation for the move and then expected full repair and or replacement.   According to [redacted], the repairs were completed...

as best they could be.  I have not received anything from this shipper on this either, if the item damaged was sold there is nothing I can do to with a claim at that point.  Further questions please let me know.  Thanks [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:The damage to the fridge that was documented prior to leaving our home was a scratch on each door.  However, the inventory sheet when it was arrived at our house stated "scratches and dents on all sides". We have yet to receive the check and we actually agreed on $600 for the refridgerator because this was pure negligence on the part of the moving company.  They have not wanted to accept responsibilty for the damage. They did not have to fix our front door of the home that was damaged because of the way the refridgerator was moved out of our home.  My husband fixed it.  This company came highly recommended and as stated previously we have had movers previously and have never had any issues.  Thank you for your time

I am rejecting this response because:  It is completely false.  After being told several times that my mirror was lost, I ordered AT MY EXPENSE a replacement.  The order was delayed a week due to a damaged shipment.  I informed N.L.Wilson that I had ordered and already paid for the replacement.  The next day Wilson called me and said they had found my mirror but did not know when they could get it to me.  At no time did they offer me any compensation.  All they did was to initially forward me a claim form which I filled out and sent to Stevens Moving Co.  My claim for the tool box was rejected and they already knew that my mirror had been found.

I will be happy to look into the situation of what happened and why the claim was denied, I do know at this point the mirror was loaded on a truck and is  due to residence next week by Weds.   [redacted] only purchased basic valuation and was asking for full replacement, she then order a...

mirror on her own accord and the delivery company called and told her it was damaged in delivery so she proceeded to pursue us again.  Her settlement was a quick and easy cash settlement offer of the basic .60 per pound, based her choosen option.  That was not acceptable to her, so when her mirror was found we offered to get it there asap, at our expense.  Please note that this customer was taken care of very well and her claim was looked over handled carefully, she is most upset with the furniture company that damaged her new mirror.   Hopefully once she receives this mirror in 1 piece she will be happy and close any complaints filed.
