No Response to Communications to review/set up work they provided a quote for.
Received a quote for the work desired to be done on June 23th. Responded to the quote with a request to adjust it by $220.00 to fit out budget - still left #1500.00 work to be done for some landscape curbing. 10 emails later (June 13 - July 31) and two phone calls later - absolutely no response from either Darcy or the owner Brian. My one and only experience with this Company is that they are severely unprofessional in the way the Business is run and don;t seem to be able to communicate very well at all. I have asked for a simple Yes/No answer as to whether they want to do the work or not and can't even get that. Please beware that a Company that can't even communicate the up-front quoting process well will most likely not be able to deliver/or schedule on time, quality work. This behavior reflects a Business that is about to go under and/or is taking on more than they can actually promise to deliver. Seem to be really nice people, just extremely bad Business etiquette/practice. It would be great just to get an answer from them.

Desired Outcome

I would like to have the Business tell me whether or not they can/will do the job and if so then give me some ball park time frame as to when it will be done - however losing confidence quickly that they cannot deliver on what they advertise or even quote.

Steven contacted us about getting a job completed. At the time we provided a estimate and he had asked if we could do it for a lower price. I was out of town for vacation and my office manager was unable to provide him the answer in a timely manner. When I did return I did let her know that the price he asked for we were unable to do it for. He did reply back to her but she was on vacation with her family so she was unable to reply. She did let him know that we were unable to do it for the price and that our other business division was so busy with other projects that we would not be able to get it done in a timely manner. We had sent him an email letting him know we would not be able to get to his project but would be happy to refer him to a different company. I understand that he was frustrated by the length of time it sometimes took to get a response and my office manager did apologize in emails to him for the delay

I initially requested a quote to do the front and back of my house. Blais who is no longer with the company gave sent me the quote, had very good ideas and I was convinced they would do a good job. This was the first week in May 2017. I was asked to pay 1/2 of what was quoted and that the work would begin the first week in July. I went ahead and paid and the first week in July came along and I called the day before to make sure everything was set. To my surprise the first person I spoke with Blais had been fired and the girl in the office that set up the job was no longer there. Elizabeth who took over as office manager said Brian the owner would call me to discuss. When he did call he seemed to know what he was talking about wanted to come see the property before doing anything else. He came to my house looked at everything and I told him I liked the suggestions Blais had made unfortunately he never sent me a drawing of what he had in mind so Brian told me not to worry that he would do a great job that he had been doing this for a long time. For some reason when he left I did not have a good feeling and instead of doing the front and back I emailed him and asked him to give me a quote just for the front that I had decided to just leave the back the way it was. He sent me a quote which was $2200.00 less of what I had already paid his company. A week later his workers came to work on the front yard and planted some bushes and a tree, etc. I told him I felt that what was done was not what he quoted me there was no colorful flowers, there was no curb appeal at all. It looked clean but everything they planted was green, the plant allowance on the quote was $1650.00 and this was not what was done. I went over the quote and subtracted what I had already paid and sent Brian a total of what he owes me. This was 2 weeks ago, to this day I can not get Brian to tell me when I will receive my refund, I tried calling Elizabeth his office manager and someone today told me she was no longer with them. So, what is the takeaway from all this,if you feel deep down that you should not do business with someone don't do it. To this day I can not get an answer and I do not know if I will ever get a refund.

We are re doing her invoice since the job went from a 14k job to a 5k job.
Work has been completed and new invoice was sent.
We are waiting on her response to settle up with this matter.

This company does an excellent job. I have gone through at least four landscaping companies and New Life has had the best results for my lawn. Great customer service as well. I highly recommend this Company
