NME Builders & Designers LLC Reviews (4)

Mr *** already rejected our initial offer as seen in the attachmentRemoving the review after rejecting our refund offer and accepting our apology closed the matter as far as we are concernedComing back and reposting the same review after it came to a resolution and changing there mind in now wanting financial compensation in addition to the apology is just plain unethical despite the circumstancesSince we do not want this client obsessing over his animosity towards me as a person, NME will reimburse its profits on this job which equates to a little under $on condition that Mr *** signs a letter that we will prepare that guarantees Mr *** not engage in any more defamation acts against NME
Having an issue with me as a person is completely different than having a problem with our productI understand that some people and I will never get along and I accept thatI just hope Mr *** understands that being that he is also in the home improvement industry and that he can move on with his life
Sincerely,
NME Builders & Designers LLC

I find it very interesting that Mr*** is conveniently leaving out pertinent facts in this matter and missing out on the chronological order of events as they actually happened, i.e.;
1. The acceptance of his ONLY offer for a "full" refund came only after I submitted my resubmitted negative review on the Revdex.com website and he responded to it. (#below)
2. If he was told not to respond to us from the Revdex.com about that offer, it was unbeknown to us. Seeing that he offered a "full" refund and knowing how he treated me that evening (which he failed to share with anyone but I have the separate quoted email below) prompted us to respond in kind as I said. There has been no intent to defame this company other than to state the facts
3. Conveniently left out email from the attached pdf file on the Revdex.com website: "Im sorryI was being a smart-alec. I admit to being blunt and at times rudeI have been told numerous times by my guys to stay away from there clients because of thatThey are pushing me to do courtesy calls and check on if a customer is happy but im new at it (doing courtesy calls) and I think it backfired this timeMy sincerest apologiesIts lateI really need to get some sleepGood evening sir and I will make more of an effort to be a less smart-alecy owner"
4. His email comments above were removed from his string of emails I noticed on your Revdex.com website attachment, but I certainly had a copy. Trust me from 1:am until 3:am on the morning of August 29, Mr*** had me so upset and nearly frightened for my life and family that I thought since he knew where we lived he was going to retailate against us somehow if we didn't initially remove our first negative comments on your website. He was very intimidating!
5. We expect him (owner) to honor their original response to our negative review when he wrote us back via email on 9/07/and stated, "We acknowledge your concerns and I am sorry you are still unhappy with usWe were and still willing to return your money if that will make you happy"YES, that will make us happy, so we can move on from this nightmare
p.s. Incidentally, I would go on record (without proof) and say he (Mr***) also wrote the anonymous, AKA: *** S.(B.S.) "Positive" Review recently posted on The Revdex.com website as there are too many "mimicked" similarities to be a random client

We submitted a complaint (see below) about the business practice of N.M.EBuilders & Designers LLC owner and after several weeks of “back and forth” delayed replies we finally received notification N.M.Ewould be issuing a $settlement That has not happened and we expect them to follow through as the first offer was a “full refund” of $never happened thus the second compliant
Please address this with Mr*** *** or we will have no choice but to take further legal action
Thank you,
The company N.M.EBuilders & Designers LLC failed to honor a "written" commitment to provide a refund:
Our issue with this company and it's owner initially stemmed from poor customer service, for which we complained to the owner/president, *** *** Our "negative" view is well documented on your website via their company location as to the exact nature of our concerns for why we have had to escalate this to a "complaint" now More specifically, in response to our negative review he wrote us back via email on 9/07/and this is what he shared in part, "We acknowledge your concerns and I am sorry you are still unhappy with usWe were and still willing to return your money if that will make you happy" We responded in kind on 9/11/(and again on 9/15/for a lack of acknowledgement) we excepted his terms for full reimbursement and in turn offered to remove our negative review But as I said, he has yet to acknowledge our email or reimburse us as the offered NOTE: I have documented "threatening" emails from *** *** which could easy be produced if anyone from The Revdex.com would like to request them Incidentally, I would go on record (without proof) and say he also wrote the anonymous, AKA: *** S "Positive" Review recently posted on The Revdex.com website as their are too many "mimicked" similarities to be a random client
REF: Call # *** 8/26/Service Inspection/Install Error - No Insulation in attic above loftNOTE: *** *stated the resolution would be a scuttle hole cut to access area in attic above loft in order to add blown insulation We tried calling today (9/17/14) to inquire as to the status of this resolve and I've been on "hold" for more than minutesI called at 11:am and it's 12:pm now I suspect you may be at lunch rather than with customers as the recording suggested, so I've hung up and writing my inquiry here instead Thank you.
I am rejecting this response because:

Regards,

[redacted] is a client who we signed up for us to
help meet his adjuster to see whether he qualifies for a new roofof our reps met the adjuster and he
recommended we do repairs instead of a replacement which the homeowner
contracted us to do
We did the repairs
on his roof and emailed him an invoice
immediately afterAfter weeks we emailed [redacted] asking about paymentHe
replied with the following" Thank you for the heads up I haven't
forgottenI received the invoice (billing statement) on 8/07/According to
law we have days to submit our payment from receipt of your
invoice. You will receive payment before 9/07/14"
After a few weeks we received paymentI did not
immediately deposit it as I was collecting other checks and wanted to deposit
everything all at onceThis apparently alarmed [redacted] as he sent another email a
few weeks after reading the following: " We mailed your office a check # [redacted] for $on 8/19/and yet you've not deposited it Is there a
reason your holding onto our check?"
I replied with the following email: " We
received itWe do deposits on certain days of the monthI will deposit it
when the time comesAccording to law we have days to deposit it"
This resulted in [redacted] getting very irate and sending a
string of emails about his negative experience with usI could not figure out what he wanted so I ultimately apologized and
offered him a refund just to make him happy<st[redacted]g>He told us that the services were
done so he did not want a refund and that an apology is all he wantedHe then
agreed to retract his review on the Revdex.com which was placed in retaliation to my
initial commentHe further confirmed that he has removed it and is satisfied
with the apologyI felt that this was settled and closed his file</st[redacted]g>
A few days later he reposted the review back on the Revdex.comHe waited a
few days then emailed us, unprompted, with what I felt like was an extortion
attempt: " In retrospect and after
thorough deliberation from the entire ordeal we went through we will except
your offer for a full refund of $and in return we will remove our
negative review from the Revdex.com website and move on from this situation.
Sorry it came to this but I feel it will be best for parties"
We replied to [redacted]s repost of the same review with an offer of a partial reimbursement however he assumed it was a full reimbursement which is incorrectWe were willing to credit him dollars however due to the circumstances that offer is no longer valid (continued harassment and threatening us with public defamation)He had rejected our initial offer of a full reimbursement and accepted our apology and removed the reviewHe later reposted his same initial review and decided he did want to be reimbursed after allThat offer had been closed and we replied to his repost with a partial reimbursement offer and relayed our concerns with the Revdex.comWe were waiting on the Revdex.com's evaluation of the situation so we did not communicate with [redacted] per instructionsIn that time frame, [redacted] decided he had waited long enough and decided to add a complaint to the review
This all stemmed from my comment to [redacted] with"" We
received itWe do deposits on certain days of the monthI will deposit it
when the time comesAccording to law we have days to deposit it" when he asked why we had not deposited his paymentIn our opinion we should have rephrased that comment to a more friendly tone however it does not equate to poor customer serviceWe tried to make [redacted] feel special but we cannot please everyoneThe work was done to the homeowner satisfaction and the bill was paid. We didnt deposit it right away so he asked us why? He did not like the tone of our reply so now he wants all his money back and wants to publicly defame usWe tried to make him happy but nothing we say or do will accomplish that and we st[redacted]gly believe that nothing will.
