If any vehicle is sold and has an issue where the check engine is to come on within the week we will direct customers to one of the mechanics we deal with to inspect the vehicle and we will pay the diagnosticIssues after month, we the dealer
will no longer take responsibility due to all vehicles being sold As:Is with no warrantyAlthough we do offer extended service contracts for up to another 50k miles depending on vehicles current mileage at the time of sale170k only qualifies for max of 12month/12Kmiles on any make or model so it is pricey (around $1000-$1500)months later, Ms *** decides to address the issues with her vehicleShe was advised to have take the vehicle to a mechanic, have it diagnosed, and call us back to let us know what the the mechanic said$is an about average fee to have a diagnostic done, which she stated she didn't haveWe then still allowed her to bring the car to us and loaned her a similar vehicle on the conditions that she keeps making her $payments and has the car insuredWhich would save her from renting a vehicle for the timeAfter replacing the engine and transmission fluids and miles of driving there wasn't any sign of an acceleration issueUntil couple weeks later when it returned along side a new issueShe was then given the option to exchange vehicle for something else or pay 50% of the repair cost and the remaining we can cover for now and add to her loanAfter getting multiple inspections and quotes, we decides to allow Ms *** to exchange vehicles with a full transfer of everything paid on the Nissan MuranoShe was fine with that for a Acura MDX with 170k like the MuranoShe was advised about another MDX year model cause it had only 150k and was a 1-Owner vehiclenow that is out the picture cause that vehicle has been sold and Ms *** is demanding a full refund of the down payment and not will to exchange because she really only wants a Nissan MuranoHere are her options
(A) We charge off the Murano balance due and its yours
(B) Return the Saturn and collect $3522.87*
($5000/down - $1477/taxes and fees = $3522.87)
The monthly payments are considered to be loaner compensation for us$207/month to have a comparable to drive is fairIf not and if the Saturn is not comparable and undesirable then why not bring the vehicle back before filing complaint?
(C) Receive full credit of $toward another vehicle in stockExample: our Nissan Murano or the Saturn Vue in her possession

First of all I would like to thanks Mr [redacted] for purchasing a vehicle from our dealership. When [redacted] had showed up at our office to return the vehicle, I had advised that he will need to contact Credit Acceptance regarding turning...

the vehicle in because that's who he make the payments too and we just sold the car.
Purchase Date and Mileage: 06/25/2012 with 84k
Here is some facts about his Vehicle: 1-Owner Clean Title CA vehicle with only 84k miles and San Diego Volvo Dealer serviced.
Return Date: Week prior to filing Complaint and with about XXX-XXXk miles.
And his complaint: "Unknown repairs to auto which turn out to be major repairs. I purchase the Volvo unknowingly about major issues that are now acurring which I don't have the money to have fix these repairs"
A "Major Repair" is usually a repair that will keep someone driving their vehicle. If this vehicle was sold with "Major Repairs" necessary than I believe that Mr [redacted] will not have been able to drive the car for 3yrs and drive over 60-65k miles.
We have notified Credit Acceptance that Mr [redacted] had dropped off his car here at our dealership, in an effort to voluntarily surrender his vehicle due to financial default. Mr [redacted] will need to speak with credit acceptance regarding moving forward with surrendering the vehicle.
