Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
I do apologize that Ms*** is upset and feels my pricing is unreasonable I have satistfied customers that even bring me back for work year after year and whom are not elderlyBut in all the years of work and many jobs performed and knowing other professionals in the same business I do not know of one that would do the the job I did for dollars or lessMs*** is correct CPS will remove tree over power lines but I did not remove from over the power line I remove tree taller than the power line. Ms*** was not at residence the whole time dealing with my client from the phone call, to peforming service or to the signing of the contract and my client writing the check for paymentThere truly was not any indication of the client having dementia and having a primary caretakerNormally in this type of case the primary care taker or whom ever has power of attorney of a person is on site to conduct the business with me to agree or disagree to estimate and making the paymentWhen first contacted by Ms*** by phone she never once stated that her mother needed a primary caretaker and had dementia or unable to make decisions on her own she was just unhappy with price chargedIf this was the case Ms*** would not have to have contacted SAPD, News, or the Revdex.comShe did not inform me of this until now and and not even in her complaint filed did she state that her mother had dementia and not in her right mind at timeHer mother never once showed any sign of confusion of what was taking place and I would never in my life take advantage of an elderly with a disease as suchTo my knowledge her mother was well aware of everything being told and being done
For the following reasons, I reject his response, which needs to be entered into this complaint:
1) Steve definitely does not understand dementia or is in no position to diagnose it or doubt me as a primary caretaker of my mother with her health issues. And he will continue to ignore is outrageous pricing2) I gave him a chance to compromise with me thru voicemails and personally speaking to him, and since he did not, I specifically informed him I was filing a complaint with Revdex.com3) All of the previous tree cutters I have authorized that have serviced my trees over the past few years ARE professionals and HAVE charged the price range I stated ($125-$500)I have records of pricing and their business cards from the past few years, and ARE licensed and ARE listed with Revdex.com as approved companies with very high ratings such as A+ and have had over yrs of tree cutting experienceThe Comptroller of Texas has records that Steve's permit is only as of 2011. Also these tree cutters did paint all branches and tree stumps they cut whereas Steve's company did not paint the tree stump for the medium sized tree he cut down and he only painted one branch in my neighbor's yard who lives in the one-story home. The other branch in the neighbor's yard in the 2-story home was not painted.
4) And most importantly where Steve is totally ignoring the main issue: I was NOT present when he cut down the tree and branches BECAUSE it was done WITHOUT my knowledge which was I DID disclose to him multiple times from the voicemails, phone call, and this complaint, and I have emphasized, that my mother called him WITHOUT me knowing this or getting approval from meI didn't know the tree and branches were cut down until I came home from work and saw my pibrush pile was higher than it was from the previous day when I cut branches and put them in a small pile in my front yard for brush pick-upI DID NOT KNOW THIS WAS GOING ON AT ALL while I was at work until I discovered it when I cam home that evening!!!!!! He just refusing to get this statement- I WASN'T there because it was done without my knowledge until I came home.
I will continue to pursue other avenues and also, I never made accusations that Steve was not a hard worker or did not cut a tree or two branches. We all hard workers in this world and he totally missed the whole issue of over pricing for an elderly person who has health issues and who should never have called him on her own. I was asking him to refund half her money which all people including friends I've spoken too including the SAPD officers, who have had professionals cut their trees, that his pricing is outrageous and there are MANY professional licensed tree cutters who charge reasonable prices for their very well done, tree cutting services
If you are unable to send him this last message, please provide your supervisor's phone number so I can ensure this is sent to him since I was not given ample time to respond to himAfterall, it took you over a month for you to get a response from him. I filed the complaint Oct and he didn't respond until Nov 4th to get a response from him after I filed my complaint so I should not be treated differently in any way and am owed ample time to respondI realize this case will not get resolved with his attitude, but he needs to read my above comments since he has missed and not had the understanding of this complaint.

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I do not agree with his response based on the size and locations he stated the tree and other branches wereMy mother has dementia and was in a confused state when agreeing to his priceWe have paid for more detailed work and on trees three times larger than this tree along with additional trees trimmed for prices ranging from $125-$in the many years I have lived in my home and when she obtained my permission to have tree work doneI am the homeowner and my mother lives with me as I am her primary caretakerSecondly, CPS cuts trees over power lines in yards for NO charge which I have had done in the past!
It is obvious *** is unreasonable with his charges for his workIt's also obvious he will not refund her for the outrageous price he charged herI have filed complaints with many state organizations due to this situation as an awareness of this business!
I do not accept his reasoning for the unreasonable price he charged my elderly mother but can see how he will not budge either.
Revdex.com, thank you for your attempts but I am not accepting this even though I realize you may close the complaint!
Regards,
