I'm writing this email in regards to my stay at the Days Inn Amherst at North Leavitt Road in Amherst Ohio on 7/22/We arrived at the facility sometime after a.mWe were told there was a king room available that usually runs $120/ nightThe gentleman was very friendly and said he could give us the room for $We checked in and drove around to our room, We couldn't believe what we saw when we walked inWe debated for a good to minutes regarding if we should just go back and try to get our money backHowever, after driving since noon the previous day, we were ready to be doneWe stripped the bed and looked for bugs and decided to just call it a nightI am used to camping outside, so I compared it to thatThe problem is, when I camp, I pay $12-a night knowing there will be dirt and bugsIt is quite different when you're paying $for the nightThe walls were dirty and unpaintedThere were holes that were untouchedThere were holes that were patched and unpaintedThere were cobwebs in locations on the celieing that had dirt caught in themThere was burn hole in the sheetThe bathroom counter was stained, dirty and in ill repairThe coffee pot had likely been there since my childhood trip this direction in the 1980sWe also had to kill a spider that came out of the hole in the floor by the bathtubI often stay in budget hotels If you review my Wyndham rewards account, you will note I stayed frequently in a Super in Omaha, NE that wasn't the newest, or best facility, but it was clean and maintainedNever once would I have had any experience such as thisI am attaching pictures and will be happy to discuss furtherI am also requesting a full refundI look forward to, and will be awaiting, your speedy responseSincerely,
