I like to leave reviews when I believe someone has done something exemplary as far as customer service or stepped out and done something above and beyond.
My family and I were in Noah's Ark on Thursday of last week and looking to buy a puppy for our family. The man working Cody we assumed was the manager was approached by an animal control officer of some sort who said he was there to conduct a routine inspection.
Seeing as we were about to purchase a Great Dane puppy we were very interested in observing this process before we made our purchase just to see if there were any problems. All I can say is WOW! The officer thoroughly went over each puppy and commented on how well they all looked and we were somewhat surprised that they didn't do anything to hide the dialog with the officer. He took the manager up to the front and reviewed their paperwork and left. We decided that was enough of an endorsement for us so we purchased the puppy. As we were going over health records the officer came back in and handed the manager some paper and asked him to sign it, as he left he said everything looks great thanks for taking time to go over everything. He patted our new puppies head and said good choice.
We could not be happier with Duke our Dane puppy. Our biggest concern was not wanting a puppy mill puppy. Our vet examined him today and said he knows the breeder and out is in contact with him, he said this guy produces some of the best Danes in the country, ours is the picture of health. We were recommended Noah's Ark by another family we met at a park and they said also that Noah's Ark gets the best Great Danes. I don't like that the only time people leave reviews is when they have a poor experience, well we could not be more impressed with Noah's Ark. Thank you for Duke, our lives are forever changed because of him!
Noah's Ark in Neosho is one of the best pet shops I've ever been. We were immediately greeted by Robert when we walked in with very friendly and professional service. You can tell how much they care for their animals while sustaining a clean environment. I'd recommend Noah's Ark over any other.
This business and its owner [redacted] have done horrible, shady and vile things to my family. Bought a pickle pup there, it wouldnt eat, it was lethargic. It was very tiny, unweight. We called and spike to [redacted] and ithers and were tild many times that the pickle would get it eventually. Had the pup 11 days, which we toom to vet, (their vet) and was told 3 times to give pickle sugar water every 2 hrs by syringe. That pickles sugar was liw, if ciurse, duh, she wo t eat. They ALL told us to force her. How do you force something who weighs what a lb...
We did all they said...pickle shot record is questionable.
On 11th day, with us calling day by the way, [redacted] said bring pickle in. My daughter does what he said so pickle can be with siblings. She called and was told pickle was asleep. She went in and was told pickle not tuere he took it to his [redacted] the owner) and which my daughter said pickle was to be with pickle. My daughter called seceral mire times that 48 hrs with excuse after excuse from [redacted], who also claimed dog was fine. She went in 2 days later and demanded her dog. That is when [redacted] said the pickle died 2 hrs after she dripped it off which was 46 hrs earlier.
My daughter leaves in a mess, crying and upset that he didnt share this info days before. She called [redacted] to ask for a necropsy, which he replied was hapoening as they "speak".
He said the results would be in in a few days. My daughter calls back on day he said would be available to hear results...he said they were not in. She said she wanted her dog to do our own necropsy and to bury her pup. He made excuses. So, I told my daughter to call vet... my daughter did one up on me and went to vet in person. Come to find iut a necropsy could not be preformed because [redacted] froze the pup (mind you he claims on Internet and in person he is a professional when it comes to dogs. Laymen ppl know you can't freeze an animal then preform a necropsy.) The vet said it cant be done and It destroys everything. So, there goes evidence...and to make a long story shorter...[redacted] the owner denied my daughter the dog for tests, denied my daughter a visit to see her beloved and denied her to have possession of her pickle to bury. My daughter tried with vet and vet told her that [redacted] had them have pickle cremated. And he denied everything. But accused, threaten and assulted ger verbally and saud she killed it and he had proof. Ahe asked to see what proof. He hung up on her, but yet demanded money from her. We got ahold of the loan company, told them what happened, proved our case and they clised out the acct and sent us the paoer work proving it. Now, he wants to threathen, harass and belittle us and whoever else talks to us on fb and if we or friends make comments on Noahs Ark fb page, we are stalked, harass and blocked, which then he finds us to comment on fb in general and lies, conniving to others, just harasses us. He needs to be investigated. His contracts are bogus, his stores are filthy, he lies, he cheats on contracts to work to his favor. . (His pockets), he doesnt follow through on his warranties, he makes you feel like if you take animal elsewhere (your own vet) it voids the contract and he beats up people verbally after losing an animal when they notify [redacted] about a death.
This is by far one of the best pet stores in the area. the animals are amazing and well cared for. the staff is helpful and friendly. Tonya is very outgoing and makes a pet store trip even more enjoyable. Robert is super helpful and can answer any question you have.
The company does not stand behind its product or service. A pet store should take premium care if its animals or not sell them! Pawning off sick dogs just to make a quick buck then sticking new owners very outrageous vet bills, or worse- trying to cope with the death and explaining it to your kids!!!

A man named [redacted] at the Joplin store called me "trash" to my daughter and made us get out of the store because I said a dog was too high $1,799.00.
I came in and order a sunburst cichlid from Noahs Ark. He came in and it was definetely the one im looking for. Robert did a great job helping and I appreciate.
Smelled like urine. The dogs are packed into the tiny cages. 3 to 4 small to medium dogs and 2 large dogs in one. They could not even turn around. Some of the birds are able to leave the cages. I let the bird get on my finger it then climbed on my shoulder as I tried to get it off it bit me numerous times on the hands and arms. Had to have the ONE person working remove it from me. After he removed it he just went back to the counter. He never asked if I was ok, I was bleeding, bruised, and crying. I asked if I could wash my wounds and he said no and handed me a paper towel. I left crying and traumatized. My husband had to warn a mother as her son was about to try and touch the same bird as we were leaving. It was my fault for touching the bird but he couldn't have cared less. That is the real reason I'm writing this review, and for the next little child that gets to close.
This pet store is great! Their selection of puppies is among the best I've seen and the staff is very friendly. Robert was very patient and kind and made the experience very joyful for us!
The man with the dreadlocks was so rude to me and my family. He said rude comments about everything we asked from the minute we walked in the door. Even my 3 year old said the man was being mean. We asked about 3 different animals in the store and he gave us rude remarks about everything. We just left without buying anything because we was so rude and treated us so unwelcome. I will never return. There staff needs some real cleanup. That was just ridiculous. I thought that pet shop was suppose to be based on Christian morals. They are deffinately the worse staff I've ever met. They need some serious help.
