chose *** to reach out and find a certified cleaning service. I input my information and results came to me and the first service to call me was Noble Cleaning Service, Owner Amanda Jordan. Amanda called me and we set a time to meet at my home for services that I wanted and pricing. I requested a Spring Cleaning. I was quoted a price of $200.00 We set a time for Amanda and her business partner, Joey to return to my home. Amanda and Joey arrived promptly January 30, 2020 at 9:00 am. Amanda was alone for approximately 2 hours before Joey arrived. At this time she was cleaning my upstairs bedroom and bathroom. She then began with the main level of my home and basement den. She asked me to walk around upstairs to check to see if everything was to my liking. I did check and all seemed well. They completed the project and asked me to call them if they had missed anything and they would be happy to return to my home and correct. They also asked me to please refer them to friends if I was happy with their work. She add that I would be invited to complete a survey regarding their work. My husband arrived home and pointed out several things that he noticed that were missed. I did not noticed these things at the time when Amanda and Joey were at my home. I have Cataracts and do not see that well. I called Amanda and explained that some things had be missed and she stated that she would come to correct as soon as she could. She explained that as soon as she arrived home to look at her work and family schedule she would call me that evening. She did not call me that evening at all. I called and text her several times on Friday 01-31-20 with no response. On Sunday 02-04-20 she text me to explain that her children had been sick and she was busy. Amanda asked me if Monday 02-03-20 at 3:00 pm was a good date and time for me. She was a no call no show. I sat at my home for two more hours. At 5:00 pm she text me to stated she had an emergency and would advise later. Tuesday 02-04-20 I text Amanda to ask if she can finish on Friday 02-07-20 or Saturday 02-07-20 and the response was can you only do Friday 02-07-20 after 3:00 pm. My response was yes I work until 3:00 pm. I have not heard back. Wednesday 02-05-20 I left a message for Amanda to please call 11:15 am I have called several more times today without a reply. I feel at this time I am getting the run around with Noble Cleaning Service. I would just like the job to be completed or a partial amount of my money returned to me. Noble Cleaning Services Response • Feb 14, 2020

In regards to the complaint filed against my business Noble Cleaning Services LLC I am nothing but disappointed at the drama that ensued after we left a seemingly pleased clients home. I understand completely that no one is perfect and had tried to resolve the issues addressed in the complaint prior to escalation. There is truth to the complaint filed against me though and I believe once crucial facts are brought to attention the mediating party will understand in full why a refund should not be administered. On 1/25/2020, a Saturday, Noble Cleaning Services met with the client in person at her home to view the work to be done and provide a quote for our services. We were to complete a deep cleaning of the upstairs which was a very large bedroom split into 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. Also established was that the main floor, bed, bath, sun room, office, living room, and kitchen were to be completed but windows to be ignored. A date and time were scheduled with the expectation of 2-3 hours of work for for a price of $200 due after the project was completed to satisfaction. On 1/30/2020 I arrived promptly and began my work immediately, my coworker was able to come after another job to help me stay on pace. I thought having the extra help would show the client that we were invested in her home and allowed us time to focus on the smaller details without going over in the time stated. After we finished the top floor I asked the client if she could check to make sure the job was to her liking and standards. We started the main floor and she requested that we please complete the basement level as well which is furnished as a family room, bar, laundry room, and bathroom. I said we could and continued on with the job checking in now and again just double checking that she was still pleased with the service being provided. She commented about how I was even using a toothbrush to clean and how we must truly take pride in our work! We finished the main floor and I again asked her to please look around and let me know how everything was. She asked me to please take said toothbrush and clean out the inside of her dishwasher as well as clean the blinds individually in the Master Bedroom. I apologized and completed the tasks immediately while the second worker started the basement. When I finished I yet again asked her if everything was to her liking, she stated they were and I went downstairs to help finish up the additional third floor. When we finished after roughly 4.5 hours we settled the bill while making small talk. She expressed how much of a help this was and how she was going to try really hard to convince her husband to hire us on a monthly basis. At this time she also stated a friend was interested as well and asked for business cards, we gave her several. I also asked if she could give us a review and she stated it would be her pleasure. She paid $150 in cash and $50 in check which I deposited at the end of the day which is standard practice for the business. Please note...despite the extra time spent and extra floor serviced we charged no more than what was originally discussed. When we left the home everything seemed to be well in order and both parties pleased with the service rendered. Several hours later the client called me and aggressively pointed out that there were a list of things not completed or not well enough and that we needed to come back out. I agreed as I truly do care about our clients and a job well done. We set the date and time and that was the end of it. I had heard from her nearly every day after that conversation through multiple outlets via phone, text, ***, and ***. My children were very ill with the flu and I was out of the "office" to focus on them which meant the business phone was either shut off or away from me with a voicemail stating we were closed and I would return all messages as soon as I could.I did eventually reach back out to confirm the date and time to fix the project and had a family emergency. Texts are attached. I was consistently berated for not responding and even threatened by way of bad reviews from the moment she had called me the evening of the 30th. At first I was very understanding and willing to complete the job though it is my true belief that we had already done WAY more than expected. Once I started being accused of not running an honest business and for the third or fourth time of being reminded that she could easily "destroy our reputation" for taking advantage of someone with cataracts I stopped responding. I will go above and beyond for someone but I was being messaged every day on multiple sources including different phone numbers about how she really didn't want to have to write a bad review. During our last phone conversation I stated that I was not going to be completing the service after she continued to use reviews as blackmail against me. She demanded a refund for weeks after and even posted my information and bad reviews on anything with our name on it. *** even had her blocked from the business page as the messages continued relentlessly. After one review was posted including my full name, contact info, and home address, I no longer felt that this was something I could just ignore. I had to file a police report for harassment. As a single mom of 3 young children I no longer felt safe knowing she had our home address and would stop at nothing to get what she wanted. I have some of the messages proving that I had every single intention of rectifying this situation and unfortunately some of the key points within our discussions were through phone calls. I have attached copies of some of the examples. One of her last messages was delivered to us at 9:40 pm stating how she had filed with the Revdex.com and we should be expecting papers. It obviously didn't matter what time of day or day of the week it was or whether the business was opened or closed the client expected that we respond immediately. All in all, I believe that this is absolutely a way to get service for free or next to nothing. We did a free estimation on a Saturday outside of business hours, stayed longer than expected, cleaned more than agreed upon and left the home under very agreeable circumstances. As a small starting business reviews are a huge key to success and we take great pride in a job well done. Attached you will see our reviews from *** adding credibility to how I run my business. It just astounds me that someone who was so pleased when we left could demand such a return after everything that was already provided.

Noble Cleaning Services Response • Feb 25, 2020

I as owner of Noble Cleaning Services LLC. I stand by the notion that I should not have to pay the client back for rendered services. I run a very honest business as my reviews and clients can vouch for me. I can provide references for you to call yourself and interview if need be. Several have also started out with higher estimates and I have lowered their charge just out of honesty. They never had a problem with the price but we were not going to charge more than the job was worth or "milk the clock". I can think of af least 3 clients that I recently lowered. I did not in any way intentionally do a horrible job or have the idea that I could take advantage of someone I was working for. I tried to rectify things until the client continued to threaten to "singlehandedly destroy our business ". I can also provide if need be the police report from when the officer called the client to warn her about the continuing harassment and that charges will be pursued if it didn't stop. It was also brought to my attention that she was "well rehearsed " on the Revdex.com process and that she had experience with this kind of dispute leading me to believe she is clearly taking advantage of a young company. I do everything in my power to deliver service I pride on and accidents do happen but the photographs attached don't even have a time stamp and this all happened several weeks ago, how can we even be sure it's because of our bad service? I'd also like to point out that the frame was half cleaned proving that this was a sincere missite and not in any way neglect. It just upsets me how far some people will go to get a free or discounted service after being provided with so much extra as it was. Not to mention, if the service was bad enough for a .65 review why would the client have even paid in the first place? *** reviews consist of 3 categories, quality of service, price of service, and customer service. All three categories were less than 1 star. In my opinion, service that horrid should have NEVER been paid for in the first place and after repeatedly stating how pleased she was, is completely unmerited. Some people are obviously wired with a broken moral compass and if anything I learned a very valuable lesson in all of this. Some people are just impossible to please and unfortunately those people are why many companies gain bad reputations and potentially fail. I am however planting my foot and standing behind my decision to not issue any form of refund on the services rendered. We were paid under the complete notion that the client was more than satisfied with our business and we deserve to be paid for that service. Considering how much time I have had to set aside from my family and business to deal with this, I believe this is more than fair.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

Regards,

***

I was Never aggressive with you. There is no way you could even think that I
was. I do not understand that you think
I am well-rehearsed with complaints; this is the first complaint I have ever
made. It really does not matter to me
any of the jobs you have or have not completed with or without good
response. What matters to me is that you
took advantage of me. I explained to you
that I have cataracts and that my vision is not well from the beginning of our
interview. That along with my recent
knee surgeries was the reason why I reached out to someone to help me clean my
home. The things you missed (or decided to do half way) where things my low
vision could not see. I paid you because
from what I saw the surface cleaning did look nice. When my husband came home and saw the things
missed, I called and asked your return. I was not upset, angry, or disappointed. I knew you would take care of
them. I felt as if you would not take
advantage of someone with medical conditions. The words you are using saying “I single handily would destroy your business”,
You are a liar. I would never say
anything like that. I resent you saying
I said this.

I am growing very tired of the tit for tat back and
forth. Bottom line you did not complete
the job. O and the framed picture you
are referring to, that was my finger that cleaned the dust off. I can provide all photos with dates and all printed
text with a copy of all my phone records with dates and times. I was taken advantage of by Noble Cleaning Service LLC. I stand behind all my words. I would like very
much to see the report that you say you filed against me with law enforcement. You did half the job and I deserve half the funds. $100.00 This is fair to ask. This problem can be solved for both of us and
can end.
