Noble Finance

I had borrowed money from Noble finance. I wanted to clear this account and pay it off totally. My son in law offered to pay off the total amount I owed Noble finance. It was in the amount of 1,125.36 dollars. I previously called Noble finance to find the amount I owed and when it needed to be in their office. An employee told me that as long as I get payment to them by the 16th of Feb. my account would be paid in full. Normally. My son in law would have used a debit card over the phone to Noble finance, but Noble finance does not offer that service. So, my son in law sent a check to them in the mail, a cashiers check so that there would not be any wait time. I also requested a receipt to be mailed to me and my son in law. My son in law mailed the check on Feb 9, plenty of time to get there by the 16th. Time passed and I got a phone call from Noble finance saying that I still owed 64.00 dollars because they claim that they didn,t get the check until feb., 19, and wasn’t,t deposited by them until Feb 21. My son in law called his bank and his bank told him that the check was debited from his account on Feb. 15. Which means that is when Noble finance cashed the check! The bank sent a text message about this to my son in law and I have it in my email. Also the bank sent a copy of the cashiers check being debited. The copy of the check clearly shows the deposit on Feb 16. My complaint about Noble finance is that they are trying to get more money out of me with dis honest intent! Noble could not have gotten this check in the mail on the 19th because banks were closed that day in lewe of Presidents’ Day. I feel that Noble has a dishonest manager and is trying to cover her mistake. Plus, why did they claim that they deposited the check on the 21, and therefore it was late and thus the 64.00 fee? If they claim they didn’t get the check until the 19th, why did they not deposit the check on Tuesday the 20th? Again my son in laws bank shows that the check was drawn upon on the 15th of Feb.
