As Mrs [redacted] had stated in her letter to the Revdex.com she had seen my sales rep at the [redacted] home show less than ten days ago He had told her he would come take a look at the issue to see what the remedy for it was within a few weeks as we have been very busy and had recieved estimate requests just from that show aloneWhen I was contacted last winter on this small repair Mrs [redacted] wasnt to concerned over the fact that I told her somebody could take a look at it in the coming weeks but it was probably a spring repair because of the cold temps Our materials can be put down in colder temps but whenever possible we choose to apply our coatings at a temp of concrete surface of 50-degrees and higherSince the time I talked to Mrs [redacted] we have restructured our office and now have a dedicated residential sales rep to handle all incoming calls I do not answer the office phone anymore as I have a rep for this now We are planning on viewing the issue which from my understanding is the size of a silver dollar and in my personal opinion does not warrant the tarnishing of an impeccable and stellar record with the Revdex.com for many yearsWe will remedy the situation for Mrs [redacted] quickly if it is in fact a failure of the product and wasnt caused by a third party or natural movement of the concrete We warranty our materials for years against peeling , flaking, or delamination from the concrete surface Third party abuse is not covered under our warranty for example - motorcycle kick stand damage, dropping heavy tools or objects, chipping ice with a shale bar etc since we havent gotton a look at the small size issue yet I cannot defend or speculate on the cause of the damage or the proper remedy yetBelow is a copy of our warranty for all garages which clearly states the above warranty information. The layer system comes with a year warranty against peeling, flaking, or delamination from concrete surface If this occurs within the warranty period we will return to fix those areas free of charge This warranty does not cover natural concrete movement including but not limited to the following: control joint cracking, edge cracking, concrete surface cracking due to slab movement Excessive intentional abuse of Poly Aspartic coating will void any and all warranties

As I had stated before I have no problem fixing this minor spot for the consumer.....none at all, it will be taken care of for her My issue with this entire complaint is that the customer had stated that this was one small spot and as the old saying goes "made a mountain out of a mole hill" for no good reasonI feel she has publicly defamed our company and I see a serious issue with this I personally have a year record combined track record in different states with not so much as a scratch on it with the Revdex.com and now this small spot will forever be there to tarnish a perfect record I will seriously consider a further legal course of action over this defamation, since it cannot be removed from the Revdex.com site At this point I feel we have only ways of solving this problem...The easy wayWe will return to fix the small spot for the customer and make sure she is satisfied The customer will then request to the Revdex.com that as per Revdex.com guidelines that it not be published thus further tarnishing my stellar recordHopefully this will be easily achieved and no further action will be taken on either sideThe not easy way........We will gladly return the customers $for her floor coating after we schedule a day and complete the grinding coating removal of her newly coated floor which we had previously installed This will be a one day process and will leave the floor as bare uncoated concrete , exactly the way we found it the day we started with the coating Perfectly back to the old concrete floorOnce the coating is removed we will refund the customers money in full and be complete Understand that I have no problem returning $to a customer if need be but our flooring products come home with us A very simple solutions So in closing either we can go back and forth about a small problem or be smart about this and just agree to one of the above and get to the consumer and fix the issue I would much rather fix the issue and keep a stellar rating and reputation in tacked But if a refund is demanded to make the consumer happy that is just fine as well but the reality is I cannot in good conscience let her " have her cake and eat it too." Option is much easier , faster and prettier than plain concrete Lets put this to bed folksYou want a small spot fixed, I want my reputation perfect Seems simple to me Should be getting warmer in the next few weeks for this little fix The choice is yours

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: So many of these statements are untrueIf he had told me someone would come to look at it I would not have had to continue to get some responseThe Garden Show man just took our name, address & phone number stating that he didn't do the work plus he would have someone call us the next week as he was new to the companyWe were there the first day just a couple of hours after the show started so he couldn't have known by then how many orders he was getting. When it was installed *** assured me they installed all year long & weather wasn't an issueI will still expect to hear from someone to get this fixedWe don't own a motorcycle or have done anything to cause the damageSince I contacted him last year he should have at least looked at it & given us an idea how/when he would repair itIt may be a small spot in his estimation but by ignoring it it could get biggerHe needs to stand by his warranty

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
This could have been prevented if there had been a timely response to my communicationI felt I had no where else to turnWe just wanted some idea of how serious this was, if the repair was urgent or could waitI will be happy to clear everything with the Revdex.com once the repair is completedWe are more than willing to work it out with ***I will wait for his call to set a time & day hopefully sometime in the next months.

As Mrs. [redacted] had stated in her letter to the Revdex.com she had seen my sales rep at the [redacted] home show less than ten days ago.   He had told her he would come take a look at the issue to see what the remedy for it was within a few weeks as we have been very busy and had recieved 34...

estimate requests just from that show alone. When I was contacted last winter on this small repair Mrs [redacted] wasnt to concerned over the fact that I told her somebody could take a look at it in the coming weeks but it was probably a spring repair because of the cold temps.  Our materials can be put down in colder temps but whenever possible we choose to apply our coatings at a temp of concrete surface of 50-55 degrees and higher. Since the time I talked to Mrs [redacted] we have restructured our office and now have a dedicated residential sales rep to handle all incoming calls.  I do not answer the office phone anymore as I have a rep for this now.  We are planning on viewing the issue which from my understanding is the size of a silver dollar and in my personal opinion does not warrant the tarnishing of an impeccable and stellar record with the Revdex.com for many years. We will remedy the situation for Mrs [redacted] quickly if it is in fact a failure of the product and wasnt caused by a third party or natural movement of the concrete.  We warranty our materials for 10 years against peeling , flaking, or delamination from the concrete surface.   Third party abuse is not covered under our warranty for example - motorcycle kick stand damage, dropping heavy tools or objects, chipping ice with a shale bar etc....  since we havent gotton a look at the small size issue yet I cannot defend or speculate on the cause of the damage or the proper remedy yet. Below is a copy of our warranty for all garages which clearly states the above warranty information. The 4 layer system comes with a 10 year warranty against peeling, flaking, or delamination from concrete surface.  If this occurs within the warranty period we will return to fix those areas free of charge.  This warranty does not cover natural concrete movement including but not limited to the following:  control joint cracking, edge cracking, concrete surface cracking due to slab movement.  Excessive intentional abuse of Poly Aspartic coating will void any and all warranties.

As I had stated before I have no problem fixing this minor spot for the consumer. .....none at all, it will be taken care of for her.  My issue with this entire complaint is that the customer had stated that this was one small spot and as the old saying goes "made a mountain out of a mole hill"  for no good reason. I feel she has publicly defamed our company and I see a serious issue with this.   I personally have a  23 year record combined track record in 2 different states with not so much as a scratch on it with the Revdex.com and now this small spot will forever be there to tarnish a perfect record.  I will seriously consider a further legal course of action over this defamation, since it cannot be removed from the Revdex.com site.  At this point I feel we have only 2 ways of solving this problem...1. ...The easy way.......... We will return to fix the small spot for the customer and make sure she is satisfied.   The customer will then request to the Revdex.com that as per Revdex.com guidelines that it not be published thus further tarnishing my stellar record. Hopefully this will be easily achieved and no further action will be taken on either side.2. The not easy way........We will gladly return the customers $1900 for her floor coating after we schedule a day and complete the grinding coating removal of her newly coated floor which we had previously installed . This will be a one day process and will leave the floor as bare uncoated concrete , exactly the way we found it the day we started with the coating.  Perfectly back to the old normal concrete floor. Once the coating is removed we will refund the customers money in full and be complete.  Understand that I have no problem returning $1900 to a customer if need be but our flooring products come home with us.  A very simple 2 solutions.  So in closing either we can go back and forth about a small problem or be smart about this and just agree to one of the above and get to the consumer and fix the issue.  I would much rather fix the issue and keep a stellar rating and reputation in tacked.  But if a refund is demanded to make the consumer happy that is just fine as well but the reality is I cannot in good conscience let her " have her cake and eat it too."    Option 1 is much easier , faster and prettier than plain concrete.  Lets put this to bed folks. You want a small spot fixed, I want my reputation perfect.   Seems simple to me.  Should be getting warmer in the next few weeks for this little fix.  The choice is yours.
