On March 17, 2015 I entered into a contract with Noe's Home Improvement to strip and replace all existing plywood on the entire back of the house only. Noe assured me that the structure of the home

would be restored to exactly the way it was. Included in this were the vent lines from both bathrooms that

were connected to the old plywood, which would be reconnected to the new plywood. Noe also asked

that I purchase a roll of insulation to replace with the one that had suffered water damage as a result

of the rotted plywood which leaked. Noe completed the job in 2 days and performed a cleanup of the outside of the house only. The contract (see file) clearly states that all cleanup would be performed. He informed me at the job’s end that he had not replaced the plywood over the garage end of the house which was included in the contract price. He told me it didn’t need replacement. I asked him about the material and labor charge and he said he would deduct $80.00 for plywood but not labor. I disagreed with him and informed him he was being paid to complete the entire back roof. I had inspected the entire area around my house and was satisfied with the cleanup. Due to a physical limitation I was not able to inspect my attic and relied on Noe’s word that it was cleaned and that the ventilation lines were

both reattached. I asked him to take a picture of it just to ensure me that it was done correctly and he argued that his word was good.

On Thanksgiving Day 2015 my son had need to enter my attic to find an article. Upon sliding the plywood from the ceiling opening in my hall he was deluged by roofing debris which fell to the floor as well. He managed to fill 2 full bags of roofing debris left by Noe's Home Improvement and informed me that there was more debris. Upon further inspection there was only one bathroom ventilation line connected when there had been 2 (both performed by [redacted] in 2011). I also saw the insulation Noe had requested I purchase used to cover large amounts of roofing debris. I called Noe to report the findings and he agreed to come over on 12-12-2015 to repair the vent and clean the debris.

On 12-12-15 he came and cleaned for approximately 15 minutes and told me he would not do the vent connection as he had assured nor finish cleaning as he said it was not his responsibility. I informed him it was his duty per our contract to clean all debris and restore the dwelling fixtures to their original state. I told him he was leaving me no choice but to file a complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like Noe to finish the job he was paid for or pay for the unfinished work I now require another contractor to complete.
