Review: May Revdex.comService promised and paid for was not delivered as described. 1.Mr. [redacted] of NOLA Carpet Cleaning came to my home on May 9th, 2014, though he arrived 10-20 later than our arranged time. He was to look at a 2- week old rug upon which a painter had spilled and attempted to clean paint in multiple spots as well as a chair cushion. I dismissed his tardiness because he had been so quick to come after my initial contact and also because I was so happy to hear him express with such confidence that the rug could be saved. (Mr. [redacted] stated with confidence that he would be able to remove paint from rug though was not certain about the chair cushion). He stated that this would take 2 weeks and we scheduled a delivery date on Friday May 23rd at 8am. 2.I called Mr. [redacted] in the morning of Friday May 23rd after having no contact with him to verify delivery at which time he stated that that there were problems with power to machines needed to dry the rug and would not be able to bring the rug as scheduled. We arranged second delivery time. 3.Ten minutes before our rescheduled delivery, I received a call from Mr. [redacted] informing me that though he had gotten all of the paint out of the rug and had cleaned it so as to remove any urine. However, when he went to roll it up, he noticed some brown spots that he had not previously seen on the rug. He suggested that these could have been from coke or coffee. I assured him that this was not the case as I do not keep either in my home and was 100% certain that in the 2 weeks that the rug had been on my floor, no one else had drunken either in my home. He then suggested that it could have come from the factory when the rug was made and that the manufacturer might have merely done a spot cleaning and because his cleaning is more thorough it could have brought up the spot. He stated that he wanted to re-clean the rug again. So, we arranged yet another delivery. 3. When Mr. [redacted] did not show up at that delivery time, I again called him.Desired Settlement: Full refund and full complaint displayed indefinitely on the Revdex.com website for others to view.

Review: 1.Billing: This business advertised honors with Revdex.com. I accepted price for 5 rooms and 2 halls of $1064.00. I was billed $2364.20. "Extras" were not priced ahead of time; some not even accepted or offered, but charges listed. 2. Cleaning was for carpet. Large furniture was not moved; carpet was not cleaned under desks, rolling cabinets, display containers. Buckets of dirty water were poured onto garden, leaving big black mud circles all over Japanese aggregate. Two ribbed velour couches which were to be simply vacuumed for dust were instead "solvent cleaned" and "textile protector" added, for a unauthorized total $825.00 The result is splotches, discoloration, streaks. Two office chairs were drenched, without warning, and ruined clothing when I sat on them.Desired Settlement: If the two couches cannot be restored to their original color and texture, they will need to be reupholstered at Nola Carpet's expense.The garden must be restored with Japanese aggregate.I can provide images of these two main complaints.

Review: To Whom It May Concern: This is a letter of complaint against Nola Carpet Cleaning and in particular, Mr. William M[redacted] Nola Carpet Cleaning was paid to clean my sofa. Despite repeatedly agreeing that they would correct their shoddy workmanship they have failed to do so. March 23 - I called Nola Carpet Cleaning to get an estimate to clean a three piece sectional sofa. The sofa is white and wool, which I knew was difficult to clean, but the company assured me they would be able to do the job and quoted me an estimate of $300. March 24 - After calling around to various other companies in the area who all told me they could not clean wool upholstery I called Nola Carpet Cleaning back and made an appointment for the following day, March 25. March 25 William M[redacted] arrived at my house, took a look at the sofa and told me not only did he not have the right material with him to clean the soda, but that he would also need to charge me more, giving me a price of $463. March 27 - William M[redacted] and an assistant came back to my house to clean the couch with what he claimed were the proper cleaning materials. They spent a couple hours cleaning and applying what Mr. M[redacted] referred to as a 'protector coat'. He told me he was done, and that even though the sofa was still wet it would dry properly. He asked for payment and assured me that on the off chance something should dry improperly, he would come back, saying customer satisfaction is very important to me. I paid him in full, $463.25 The sofa however did not dry properly. Thus began a now 5-month struggle with William M[redacted] to get him to properly clean my sofa. In April he removed my sofa from my house and brought it to his warehouse to clean. He then kept the sofa at his warehouse for over two weeks, without communicating with me about the process or estimated time, despite multiple calls and dozens of texts. After nearly three weeks he admitted that the batch of 'protector' he had used was a bad batch, blaming the manufacturer. He said he was waiting for a new batch, but in the meantime would bring my couch back and when the new batch arrived he would again attempt to clean my couch from home. While he returned my sofa within the next few days, I didn't hear from him for over a month about the promised re-cleaning of my sofa. When I was finally able to get in touch with him, by calling him from a different phone number, he agreed to another appointment. From May through August he continually made appointments and failed to show up. At least twenty appointments were made and not one resulted in Mr. M[redacted] cleaning my sofa. On August 2 Mr. M[redacted] arrived at my house, two hours late for our appointment that day. However, immediately upon arrival he claimed he did not have the product he needed to clean my couch and that he was going to go buy it immediately and come back in two days to clean my couch. I have text message proof that he yet again canceled our appointment on August 4. When I told him this was unacceptable, he became agitated and defensive. He claimed he had finished the job months ago and that he would not be making any further appointment to clean the couch. However, when I sent him photos of the couch in its current state, he responded, Ok I will call you tomorrow. That was on August 5 and I have not heard from him until September 11, the same day I sent an e-mail informing him I would be reporting him to the Revdex.com. He responded immediately that he could come in every morning at 7am the week starting September 21st to finish the job. He never showed, nor responded to e-mails or calls. I have documented proof of all of this.Desired Settlement: I would at the very least like a refund for the $463.25 I paid Mr. M[redacted] in March. My couch is much worse off than it was before he touched it. I had another company come in to quote me a price for cleaning the mess that Mr. M[redacted] made, but they informed me the damage was irreparable.
