I am writing in response to the letter that we received from you regarding Mr*** ** ***. His primary insurance Delta Dental was the insurance that denied the procedure in question. He did receive the quoted discount for the insurance that he purchased in office. I am not
sure where his comment is coming from about fine print or waiting days because neither of those things apply to the in office discount plan that he purchased. When we create a treatment plan for a patient we do our best to give them an accurate estimate based on the information that we have available from their insurance companyWe did add a Delta PPO adjustment to Mr*** account that we were not required to do as a courtesy and he was also given a discount for the in office policy that he purchased. The full cost of the service in question was $672. I hope this answers your questions. I would be happy to answer any others if you need clarification. I would also be happy to call Mr*** to explain the cause for the balance because it sounds like he may not have the facts correct. *** ***
