Promised credit to my credit card account not made after many assurances by NombiskoOn4-8-14, I purchased software that was to be installed on my computer. After several days, there was no difference in the operation of my computer. I contacted sales rep "[redacted]" @ XXX-XXX-XXXX who stated that he would post a credit to my [redacted] account. To date, no credit has been posted. Desired SettlementMy credit card account to be credited the $214.00 that was debited on 4-8-14

trend micro is not a security business, lied to me and charged me $285.00. not a 24/7 business, feel I have been taken advantage of, hope to reco calling trend for help discovered they were not a reputable business, I paid them $285.00 on july 16, 2014. as I see they are not confirmed by the Revdex.com. I paid them thru [redacted] and have contacted [redacted] and filed a claim, I would like a full refund, and feel they are taking advantage of many people, and my computer is not running well and for them to pay for a new one is not out of the question, feel angry and think they should pay for all my frustration, just makes you mad that you have to deal with people like this, hope you can resolve this issue. Desired SettlementI am seeking the $285.00 and any other expenses such as time spent to correct the problem and misery they put me thru, and reimbursement for a new computer that they have not hand on.

Following a scam to get my father's credit card, Nombisko called and bullied my father into accepting a $385 charge for work that was not performed. On August 20, 2014, my father, a senior citizen, experienced a pop up (probably malware) on his computer informing him that it was infected and that he contact [redacted] (a reputable company) at a certain phone number. He called the number and was taken through many steps that led to asking for a credit card and bank account. He barely extricated himself from that predicament and hung up when he was contacted on the phone by a forceful, dominating Nombisko agent who stated that my father had been hacked but would get the required virus protection immediately with a credit card fee of $385. My father, flustered and tired, agreed to the transaction which resulted in the installation of what appears to be legitimate virus protection software. The timing of the events implies that Nombisko is in cahoots with the malware developers' scam; when their attempts failed, Nombisko called forcefully with a spurious rescue package that may have involved further malware installation on my dad's computer. The Nombisko USA Inc invoice (number [redacted], dated August 20, 2014) for $385 includes the [redacted] virus protection software at an inflated price, and $285 of charges for 23 items that look official but were for material not delivered or work not performed. Desired SettlementA refund. I'd like the company to come clean, but seeing that they performed the same scam for the same amount on at least one other person, the best I can hope for is a warning to others so that future scams fail.

Company misrepresented themselves as customer support for [redacted] related windows product & used deceitful practices to sell bogus virus protection.8/15/14 received an unsolicited call from a company that identified themselves as "[redacted]." An agent, with an Indian accent, informed me that my computer was infected with thousands of viruses. The aggressive & persistent agent convinced me to follow their instructions that I later learned gave them remote access to my computer. I provided them with my credit card information and they charged my card $385.00. I was told to let the program load to my computer for several hours but once I was informed by a family member that this is a known scam I stopped the download and reformat my computer. I received a call from them immediately after I shut my computer down. They asked me why the download had stopped and not completed. I informed the agent that I did not want their product and ended the download and would reformat my computer as there was no way to halt the process in progress. The agent was clearly made aware that I did not want their product and never fully installed it yet my credit card was still charged. Desired SettlementFull refund to my credit card in the amount of $385.00. They are aware the download never completed. I never used or received the product and they were made clearly aware of this plus I stated to the agent that I was unhappy and no longer wished to do business with them in our last phone conversation.
