Had a horrible experience with Budget Movers. Many items not delivered and damage to furniture delivered. I am truly left scarred from my experience with Budget Movers. My delivery did not arrive until after 11pm and the movers were incredibly hostile and rude in their demeanor. My furniture was thrown off of the moving truck without the use of a ramp which left my dressers and coffee table damaged. The movers refused to check off the inventory list as they were unpacking. The delivery driver then refused to sign his own name to the delivery form and just left! When I told him items were missing he told me to take it up with customer service! Upon further inspection I realized at least 4 of my boxes were missing, all containing family photos and irreplaceable heirlooms. I filed a claim with their third party insurance provider and the company denied all responsibility for any items lost in my move and offered me no compensation for the lost boxes. I called the warehouse manager for months begging them to please check for my missing boxes and never heard anything back. It was not until I seemed legal council that they recommended getting in contact with the Revdex.com. I truly just want my missing boxes returned to me and am hoping this can be resolved.Budget Moving & Storage Inc., [redacted] Raleigh, NC XXXXXDOT#:XXXXXXX. MC#: XXXXXXJob #: UXXXXXXXPick up: [redacted] Charleston, SC XXXXX on 4/29/2015 by [redacted]Delivery: [redacted] Port Chester, NY XXXXX on 5/4/2015 by unknownDesired SettlementI just want the boxes of my mom's pictures returned to me- the sticker lot no. is [redacted] and the numbers of the missing items are 125, 127, 134, 150 and 159. The stickers are bright green. I will truly do anything to have these items returned; they are of no monetary value to anyone but of incredible personal value to myself and my family.

Moving company took 23 days to deliver, cost 3x as much, delivered broken/wet items. $5000 worth missing. Left without giving receipt. Ripped off. EZ moving and storage took 23 days to deliver the contents of our apt. They were hired to pick up on Sunday July 3, and was under the impression that it would be delivered the same day. They delivered on Tuesday July 26. At the time of delivery, most of the boxes and their were wet, moldy and smelled. Large pieces of furniture like marble table and wood armoire were destroyed. All of my husband's designer suits and watches were missing possibly stolen. Estimated amount for cost of missing/stolen/damaged/destroyed items is $15,000. The move cost over $4000.00 (3 times as much as initial estimate) and almost all of my possessions were ruined, damaged, moldy, destroyed or missing. The driver took off without giving me a receipt for reviewing the itemized manifest of items with me. No one has offered me a refund. I am requesting a refund. In addition the amount of money that is cost us to live without our stuff for 23 days (emergently buying an air mattress, buying new clothes etc) has cost hundreds. This experience has been terrible and the services promised by the moving company were not met. This has been an exhausting, anxiety ridden and nightmarish experience. Desired SettlementI am seeking a full refund. In addition I have filed claims for monies lost approximately $15K worth of items that were missing/stolen/damaged/destroyed. Incidentals were also in the hundreds. From this company however, all I am asking for is a full refund.

Hired these movers to move us from [redacted] to [redacted]. They started out as [redacted] and said they had been bought by[redacted] but that all turned out to be untrue. They showed up at 4:30 pm (8 hours late) on September 9th with a very small truck. The estimated amount was $3154.00 but the driver said that that only covered throwing everything in the truck unprotected and if you wanted everything wrapped and protected, it would be an additional $3068.00, only if you filled the truck etc. It was left very vague. Since it was so late at night, they wrapped a few things and then said they would take everything back to the "warehouse" and finish wrapping it all, to save time. I wrote them a check for the $3154.00 and they left with the small truck absolutely jammed packed full. The next day we drove up to[redacted] and they called around 8PM to say that they would be delivering our stuff on Friday between 9am and 12, but if we wanted our belongings we had to give them another $3068.00 in cash or money order or they wouldn't be bringing the truck. It really didn't give us much time to find that much cash as it was a different state and I didn't see why they thought they deserved anymore money at all, since they never wrapped or protected anything in any different than the minimum expected from any mover, if that. When we got the cash and the driver pulled up, he wouldn't even open the door until he got the cash, and when we looked inside the van had not been disturbed at all from when they left our house late on the 9th. They never took it back and wrapped anything at any warehouse, even if they have one, we had a lot of damage from overcrowding the truck and unprotected packing. We basically feel they held our belongings for ransome, and this should be illegal. Antique tables are goughed and scratched, glasses broken, boxes piled on top of boxes marked fragile so heavy that the bottom boxes collapsed. We won't stop here, the next step is the Attorney General.Product_Or_Service: Movers /////Desired SettlementI would like my $3068.00 back and also want repairs done on the furniture that was damaged. They never should have charged us anymore than the estimated quote, if that, and it should be illegal to blackmail people with their own belongings. Obviously, your furniture etc is worth more than $3068.00, so people pay up. /////

Mover lost legs to my dining room table; my move made stops in 2 different states and I was delayed in the promised delivery time. they also made a hole in my mattress and did not remove the crate the dining room top was stored in to protect in move. They lied and told me they found the legs, but later said it was a mistake. have not had any satisfaction from them or [redacted] who contracted them out and told me they were never using them again because of all the problems. The movers brought item to my home that did NOT belong to me and I had to tell them that.today I was informed that the truck unloaded my furniture in New Jersey and North Carolina. It is the only table I have and no where for me and my child to eat on. They are horrible company, and this table was bought custom made to me by my mother who is deceased; it has sentimental value, and I have been waiting for them to locate the base ( 2 legs of table) since delivery on 11/25/15- also the plastic was ripped on covering of mattress and has hole on bottom of a 2 year old mattress. I am seeking compensation for all of the aggravation, stress, upset and monetary value which is hard to arrive at since it was custom made and from my deceased mother. I will be forced to buy another one if they do not locate the base; as of today they have not. thank youDesired Settlement[redacted] movers contracted them out; and I put in a claim for estimated price of comparable table to buy , new mattress, and they never took table top out of crate as [redacted] sales person said the mover would. I was unaware that [redacted] , a moving broker was contracting job out to budget. I am seeking monetary compensation, in the amount of $3,950, and it has also affected my health.

Movers charged more for move due to improper initial weighing of truck.March 2, 15: Movers arrive in Sandston from NC, they weighed their empty truck (26') in NC (steer axle 4040lb, drive axle 5320lb, gross weight 9360). Packed the contents of a small bedroom (1 full bed, 1 medium dresser & mirror, 1 medium chest of drawers, 3 small office boxes, wash machine, and very small side table) 14 items in total on manifest. The driver, [redacted], attempted to inform us that we owed more money, and I asked for the items to be weighed. Followed to weigh station for weight of truck & items to be moved (steer axle 7440lb, drive axle 6160lb, gross 13600). Was told that the weight of my items equaled 4240lbs. After insisting that we pay additional money or they would unload truck, we insisted that there was no possible way that these items weighed so much (over 300lb per item????) After we agreed to pay an additional $175, we discovered that the truck may not have been weighted properly in NC (tire off the scale). We also researched that the average 26' moving truck has a gross empty weight of 12600 lbs.We also took pictures of the DOT numbers on the truck and they did not match up to DOTs info. We will be filing a complaint with them. We did wait to file a complaint until the furniture was delivered.Desired Settlement$175 for overpayment of improper weight of truck.

Non-Stop Moving & Storage (also known as EZZ moving or EZ moving and storage) is the WORST company I could have ever imagined working with. I was unfortunately contracted out to them and did not recieve a single phone call to say they would be the ones doing my move. They did not call leading up to the pick up date, nor show up on the only date I specified would work and called me the next afternoon (while I was at work) that they were 10 minutes away. This was TWO WEEKS ago and my items still have not been delivered even though they confirmed that they would be there on a specified drop off date. I have called them every day (because I am staying in a hotel and don't have any of my belongings) and they say that they cannot provide a drop off date because they don't have any trucks available at the moment- said they might be delivered in 10-14 business days which would be almost a month past my delivery date.
They are rude, incompetent and extremely unhelpful. Do not use them or you will regret it. ","neg-1
