Nona Jensen & Associates Reviews (2)

Please see attached. The complainant of these allegations was not an employee or associated with any of the four companies in which [redacted] was hired to consult at any time during the contractual period. This individual was merely... interviewed for a “high end stylist” position at one of the four locations and was not hired at that time. Professional Business Services dba Nona J [redacted] & Associates is a Bookkeeping/Consulting company which specializes assisting businesses and companies in strategic planning and obtaining the next level of success. On Wednesday 9-7-16 Professional Business Services was hired for bookkeeping services by [redacted] *** [redacted] to analyze, gather data, audit and file amendments if necessary with the IRS, DOR, Employment Security and L&I for tax filing year 2015. At the time, Dr. *** [redacted] and Staff advised they improperly deducted employee withholdings from the date of operations for at least two of his companies as well as filed with each tax organization incorrectly. On this date, all data accumulated by [redacted] *** and Staff was presented to Professional Business Services. Professional Business Services has only received checks to date from [redacted] *** ***’s companies for onsite services rendered. Professional Business Services has not yet presented a bill for services rendered for offsite services such as phone calls, emails and text messages that would often time occur after 6:00 pm. Professional Business Services was provided miscellaneous mail from [redacted] *** on the evening of Tuesday 10-11-16 prior to termination of services at 9:00 am on 10-12-16. Professional Business Services does not have in its possession any IRS checks and suggests [redacted] contact the IRS immediately to verify what name in which the missing check was deposited prior to making said allegations and/or request the check be reissued by the IRS. Unfortunately, most employees are extremely uneasy once a Consultant is hired at any company. Changing a company and/or its’ culture or attempting to turn it into a profitable enterprise is not always in the best interest of the employee(s). Professional Business Services’ normal business practice is to implement strategic and sometimes drastic changes with a 2 month turn around. Professional Business Services was onsite for [redacted] *** ***'s companies for 5 weeks hence what could appear to be total chaos. Professional Business Services would only expect Business Owners to understand this concept, not employees or staff. The complainant states no invoices were ever provided by Professional Business Services – but in her first statement she states “bills herself”. If no invoices were ever provided, please explain this statement. Nona J [redacted] of Professional Business Services was a Co-Signer on two of Dr. ***’s business checking accounts in which only one signer was required. All checks signed by Nona J [redacted] were for services rendered only. After being released by another Consultant of Dr. *** ***s on 10-12-16, Nona J [redacted] sought out legal counsel to be released of any legal liability, as a Co-Signer on Dr. ***’s business accounts that may arise due to improperly filed tax issues on his part. These issues are extremely serious and are utmost concerning to Nona J [redacted] at this time. It is normal business practice for Professional Business Services to analyze, and enter all bookkeeping services as well as house all clients’ documentation at Professional Business Services site for referral and safe keeping purposes. On 9-10-16 Professional Business Services was hired by [redacted] for consulting services during a presentation by him to all Staff members that operational control of one of his companies was now being turned over to Professional Business Services to “act as CEO” of said organization. Staff was advised by [redacted] that he was stepping down from all operational involvement and that Professional Business Services will start implementing changes to make the companies profitable. After a 5 hour meeting and with Staff concerns addressed; Professional Business Services was hired to consult onsite to job shadow employees, analyze operations, systems, processes, procedures and to strategically change the business to succeed. It is normal business practice for Professional Business Services, after analyzing, to consult with all Owners associated with the business, prior to implementing any changes that will drastically impact their company. Professional Business Services and [redacted] met on a daily basis regarding all of his companies before any changes were implemented. At no time did Professional Business Services act without the approval of [redacted] ***. Meetings were either at one of his business locations, via phone or via text. Also, Professional Business Services has at no time “refused” to return paperwork to [redacted] ***. The attire for Professional Business Services is Business Casual. At no time did an employee of Professional Business Services present themselves in any other manner. Finally, the allegations of the complaint have no merit or basis in fact. Professional Business Services has always conducted itself in a professional manner consistent with Industry and BBB standards. Thank you! Nona J***Professional Business Services
