Dear *** ***The following is my response letter to the ***'s complaint to the Attorney General with the attempt to getting our license revokedI will send you additional documents and exhibits as I find them over the next few days.Thank you for your kindness and
patienceVargha H.Noor FlooringDear *** ***Thank you for your kind letter and really appreciate your patience and clarity*** ***, we first went to look at **& ***s, recently purchased home onWhen I arrived at the house, there were another flooring company looking at the floorsI then met with ***, measured the rooms and took a picture of the floor for color referenceI submitted in which, I explained that the floors would be sanded and coated with tinted polyurethane, in order to bring the color of the newly sanded floors close to the original color of the floorsWeeks passed and after our secretary contacting ***, she expressed concern that she was not too sure about our suggested method of multiple applications of tinted polyurethane, instead of staining the wood directlyWe explained to her that maple can not be stained outside a factory where every board is sanded be the same exact sanding belt and staining apparatus that can apply stain to each board separately and with the grain of the board, without stopping, changing of the direction or human interactionWe even sent her a *** video that explained why maple floors could not be sanded and stained on site, without the stain showing signs of patching, highlighting which is variation in color intensity and other markingsShe again sent us an email saying that her relatives in Florida, who are builders, had recommended that she goes with staining the floors instead of the method we had recommended which was using tinted polyurethaneWe then insisted that we could not do the stain and she would have to go with another companyAfter a few days *** called our office and wanted to go ahead with the refinishing, but wanted the staircase also added. We started the refinishing jobOn August 3rd, and met for the first time with *** when he happened to mention that they had a few other companies look at the floors and almost all of them had literally ran out the door, once they saw the maple floorsThe floors were sanded and finished using our recommended method using tinted polyurethaneThe job was completed and the final result was excellentThe color was very close and the finish was close to perfectAnd this was despite constant meddling of **and *** in the process and attempting to change our ways and methodsWe ended up applying seven coats of polyurethane, instead of 4, per insistence of the ***s and against the advise of our crew and foremanWe told the ***s that adding more polyurethane after a certain point will not add more color and it actually could compromise the look of the finish but they would not agree nor budgeAlmost every afternoon, our crew would leave the ***s thinking that everything was OK, and the next morning we would get a harsh phone call or email about one thing or another. We had finished the refinishing and we thought everything was fine and then after a few days received another phone call and in the usual manner, there were complaints, demands and blame thrown our wayThe did not accept the color, because they said it wasn't close enough and that our method was not correct and that we should have stained the floors instead of tinted polyurethaneThey demanded that we re-sand the floors and finish the floors using a stain that they would give usWe told them that they are the customer and we want them to be happy and would do what they wanted us to do, within reason, of course! We sanded the and stained the maple floors using our experiences and knowledge of its challengesMaple floors if not stained in a factory, where every board is put through the same exact sanding, buffing and staining process, will show every variation in sanding, scrapping, buffing and even the gentlest of hand touching once the stain is appliedSanding wood flooring requires, sanding the main floor with three different grits of belt or drum sander, the edges have to be sanded with two or three different grits discs of a circular edger, then all the edges have to be hand scrapped and hand sanded in order to remove the edger marks and then the entire floor has to be buffed with a coarse screen and the with a very fine sand paper before stainingWith a maple floor any change in the method of sanding from a belt sander, for the main floor to a circular edger for the perimeter will showas a discrepancy and variation in stain, if you stain the maple floors, instead of polyurethaneAlso, any fine sanding lines from the edger can not be scraped off, because a 1/64” scratch will become a 1” highlight or eyesoreWe tried to make the ***s understand of this reality, but they just could not accept this very fact of naturewe never assured them that staining maple floors would result in a uniform or even stainAs a matter of fact, we made every effort to make them understand the very opposite, that staining maple is a BAD idea.Sorry for the delay in response and appreciate your patienceThe pictures are meant for your review, so please don't share the photographs with the ***'s, in case there is further legal involvement.Thank you for your kind attention and patience, againVargha H***Noor Flooring***

Dear Miss Stewart We had made a mistake with regards to the square footage and we offered Mr*** 100% refund plus a whole days work of removal and disposal of very old carpet and vinyl tile at no charge in exchange for the well over $worth of materials that
we left behind from the first day, but the customer keeps placing more obstacles in front of the transaction and more attacks and accusations on the internetWe don't know how to calm his rageIn retrospect, We should have completed the work at the loss though be it significant, but sometimes your decisions are altered by the situations you are going thru and that is just humanWe are just human and make mistakes too, but we try to make things right and hopefully move on. Thank youVarga H

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because this contractor never made any effort to correct his mistake and rectify the problems that were created by his behavior. The response submitted does not offer a solution.  Over the past 4 weeks, I have asked him repeatedly to refund my deposit via certified check/money order and take back the flooring material that he left at my house.  I have emails that can confirm this claim and printed copies will be shown in court as I expect that is where we will end up.  (I can also submit a copy of a response by the contractor saying that he is unavailable to come by to pick up the wood.)  I have now given him my final deadline, which was today, Saturday 9/10.  He failed to show up.  I have been storing the wood he left behind for a month and it is taking up space that I need for construction.  My family and I have not been able to properly move into our newly purchased home because the bedrooms have no floors as a result of this contractor's unprofessional behavior.  For the past month we are all huddled together in one small room of the house and all the furniture is in the middle of our living room. My patience has run out.  I have now hired another company to install the floors.  The flooring material left behind at my house will either be installed or sold to the new contractor.  I am ready to address this issue in court with Noor flooring if necessary.
