Nor-Cal Youth Sports

Our girls absolutely love this league. One does Cheer and the other plays basketball, coaches are knowledgeable staff are professional! Some traveling on weekends but very local for practices (weekday nights).

Review: I enrolled my son in basketball for the Fall 2015 season online through Nor-Cal Youth Sports. He was put on a team 30 minutes away from our home area (which I originally signed up for). I called to ask about why he was put on a team out of our area. I was told our home area was full so they just picked a neighboring area. The gentleman apologized to me saying, someone should have notified me and asked about another possible area. He mentioned he found another team (said to be closer to our area) but after google mapping it...again was about 30 minutes away. So...I called back again and explained the situation requesting he be on a team in our area. He told me to hold on as he'd double check to see if there were any available spots in our area. He said he'd found one open spot. I was appreciative as practice was that night and it was in our home area. We went to practice and my son was extremely excited. Practice seemed a bit odd though, as all his teammates seemed a bit younger than him. At the end of practice my son and I approached the coach confirming that this was a 5th/6th team. Unfortunately, he announced it was a 3rd/4th team. Yet, again, another let down. I called the leagues number and left a message stating we went to practice but it was the wrong age group. Rather than getting a phone call back, I received a text message stating, "We don't have a team in his age group in your area so we will just have to give you a refund." Since that text, I haven't heard from them nor received my refund. The text was sent on 10/1/15. I have made daily calls, left messages, and sent several texts requesting my refund. It is now over a month later and I have still not heard from them nor received my refund. I am a fulltime mother of two, working fulltime. This has been a financial hardship for me and my son was stripped of an extra-curricular activity; benefiting him.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund. My son didn't play in the league and I was told I was going to receive a refund.
