Nor- Great Neck Service Center

Review: I visited Nor-Great Neck Service Center to get my vehicle's driver side window assessed for repair as the window was non operational. I was told that the motor and the regulator needed to be replaced and I told them to go-ahead to make the repair. Two days after the repair, the window stopped working. When I took the vehicle back in to be looked at again, I was told that the reason why the window is not working is because wire burnt out and motor was fine. I was told that I needed to pay an additional $80 on top of $148 + labor that I paid to get this fixed. I was suspicious and took the car into the Honda dealer. Upon diagnostic, the dealer told me that there is nothing wrong with the wire but it's the motor that is not working.

With Honda's verification, I took the car back to Nor-Great Neck service center. I made them aware of Honda's findings and the agreed that they would swap out the motor again. I left my vehicle for with Nor-Great Neck Service Center so they could repalce the motor. When I came back to pick up my vehicle, they told me again that the motor was fine and that I needed to replace the wire which would cost me additional $80. I'm doubtful that they even tried to replace the motor the 2nd time I took the car in.

Convinced that Nor-Great Neck Service Center wasn't being 100% transparent, I took it to yet another service repair shop and confirmed that the motor is not working and the wire is fine.

At this point, I was sick and tired of having to deal with Nor-Great NEck Service Center and their lies so I got the vehicle serviced with the 3rd repair shop that confirmed it was the motor that needed to be repaired.Desired Settlement: I want part and labor refunded to my credit card.

Review: last winter we brought our Toyota siena mini Van into nor-great neck service station inc for engine oil change, when done, the boss an [redacted] guy handed us the bill which read fourth something almost $50, I asked why, he said because he charged me on the new oil filter, we have been doing engine oil change for our car since 1998, always the filter is included, he told me toyota is different story, which need a special filter, I paid him. this year on June **, 2014, my wife brought this same van into this shop, this time an employee did the oil change, and charged her $29.95 plus tax $2.58(total $32.53), the invoice read: oil change service-full size vehicles, includes 5 quarts of oil & oil filter. ...two days later, on June **, 2014, without knowing my wife did the oil change already, I brought this same van to do the oil change in this same shop, when done, the [redacted] boss issued me the invoice which read: oil change service-midsize vehicles includes 5 quarts of oil & oil filter..for $24.95, and on Parts section, it read: oil filter, 1 for $15.95, I asked me why, he told me the same story, that some special car like Toyota, lexus etc. they need a special filter which he has to charge me, what a liar!!, when his honest employee charged me the regular price, this boss charge me an extra $15.95 for nothing, he did this twice on me. and when he check the history for my van, he should find out this same van just got oil changed two days before, but he said nothing, I need Revdex.com and consumer affair bureau to deal with this issue please. an liar like this is a thief.Desired Settlement: refund and apologies from this shop's boss
