A [redacted] bought a from us a 2005 volvo s60 2.5t (VIN# [redacted]) , it was paid for by [redacted] and [redacted] On July 15th 2014. [redacted] came in together with [redacted] (now the registered owner)...

to test drive the Volvo s60. And from the very beginning they Insisted that they cannot buy a car without having an inspection done on it to ensure if it is in good standing. Which was proven that day by her mechanic, that which was the SOLE and ONLY reason for her purchasing it. That day we Agreed to let them take the Volvo out to get it looked at, and they came back to our office that day after the inspection was performed and made no mention of any of the complaints listed above. They decided based on their satisfaction with its condition... based on the findings of THEIR mechanic to purchase the Volvo S60 that day. They bought the car "AS-IS" and they DECLINED the "2-day Contract cancellation option" agreement. And They also signed a Release Form that the car was in fact CHECKED by a LICENSED PROFESSIONAL MECHANIC and were happy with the results prior to purchasing it. [redacted] Called some time later, approx less than a week after sale, requesting to have the tires changed to tires of their own preference, the car was fitted with new tires, and their was nothing at all wrong with them at all. This was something we just couldn't work out with her and couldn't offer any exchange for different tires. At that point she never mentioned any of these issues provided in this Revdex.com claim. But Not long after she filed a REPORT on Revdex.com was made did we receive a call from her about the front strut, and A/C system, this was the morning after the Revdex.com report. [redacted] then immediately went to make passive threats against our reputation if we do not meet her demands and pay half of her supposed costs. [redacted] and [redacted] were never interested in how the car was represented to them from day 1, which is why we allowed them take the car to her own mechanic to meet their satisfaction.

[redacted] Is correct about this however that we DO NOT have a service center and never claimed any such thing. And yes, Since cars don't fall from the sky, we get our inventory from DEALER ONLY AUCTIONS, just like every single used car dealership in America does. This is in reality the only way to obtain used automotive vehicles, period. Finally, I nor anyone else working here is a mechanic, we do not work on cars. So we are unsure why the blame is being placed on us,  for something we simply had no role in. We advise that these issues be resolved with the most appropriate place, that being the shop who inspected the car.  We, at NORCAL MOTOR GROUP,
are willing to go the extra mile and work with our customers so as long as they are willing to work with us.

Review: This dealership sold me a car with lots of problems. It has cost me close to $2000 to fix the car. Jason told me the car did not have any problems repeatedly. He said the A/C was good, that the car had new tires. Turned out the A/C had major problems, the tires were the wrong size and that front struts were broken which would have been known when the tires were replaced. The problems existed when I bought the car. This dealership does not have a service department. This is a dealership that buys cars at auction and then sells them quickly. From my experience, they did not honestly represent the car they sold me. I would stay away from this dealership and buy from one that stands behind their product or at least, tells you the truth about the condition of the carDesired Settlement: I would like [redacted] to pay for the repairs that were required. He knew the condition of the car when he sold it to me. These problems were known. Therefore, these problems should have been told to me

Review: False advertisement, bought a car at Nor Cal Motor is Davis, stating that it was a clean title. Few months passed (10), car started not functioning properly, was in Davis when it happened had to get it towed to my house. Toyota’s policy is it the car is 5 yrs old and below 60,000 miles car will be fixed free of charge. Got it towed to [redacted], when they ran the barcode of the car it stated it was salvaged title. Meaning Toyota cannot touch the car. Nor Cal Motor Group sold me a car w/a pink slip stating it was a clean title. Toyota later then stated it was a salvaged vehicle.Desired Settlement: Refund.

Response:

The Customer who bought the vehicle, both parties, him and his son. Both were aware of the previous accident, which was shown and detailed on the carfax, including total loss and its description, total loss is not a branded title (on page 4/5 on the carfax). All information presented from the date of purchase in January. Nothing on the carfax report has changed, or updated in that time frame. The title was and has remained clean as described. Both Customers viewed and signed on all documents and those regarding its history/accident for the vehicle at time of sale. Despite them actually having omitted their signed copy from their initial report here, that show they were aware of the vehicle history. There is copy of Clean title provided in attachments, which shows no salvage history prior to sale or currently. Also the customer clearly provided his title now in his own name showing its current status. It is at the discretion the shop or dealership itself what they will work on. The car was not provided with a warranty through us and was sold AS-IS. All information on title is current. And accurate.
