Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2016/01/06) */
in respond to customer complaint
1.Post dated check
customer did not have the money to purchase the extended warranty at the time of sale so they left a post dated check to be turned in when the funds were available. customer never called back...

and the check was filed away after the grace period. customer never at any time called back to ask why the check never got cashed, they only called when they had a mechanical issue a few months later. At that time is when they figured out that they did not have extended warranty.
2.Car was a total loss
That is not an accurate statement because customer was given a DMV history report, that show clean title and no structural damage, also the vehicle was financed through a lender that does not do salvage titles. and on the current title it is also clean showing them as the registered owner and the bank as the lien holder. so I think the dealer that they traded in the car did not give them accurate information.
3. Customer paid $11,492
the sale contract was for $7995.00 which was kelly blue book value.
This is the respond to the three issues that the customer questioned.as far as the customer states that I was rude and yelled and hung up on them..
all I can say is wooow I even got them the repair done at the shop at my cost which was half of what they were quoted elsewhere...
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 10, 2016/01/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
As for not having the money that is a lie they took a post dated check because they were waiting for the loan to go through, norco autoland gave me the papers for the extended warranty so I assumed we had the extended warrent, also I was not told to call back I was told the check would be put in for the warranty on a certain date. That was their job not mine, I never noticed the money in the bank, what should that matter anyway, It was their job to deposit it. Also We got a copy of the carfax from the new car lot and it says car was in an accident, the car fax that norco autoland gave us does not say that car was in an accident, the new car lot said car was only worth $500.00 because of the accident. Also In the argument of I only noticed when the car had mechanical problems..isn't it common sense that I would need it at that time? That's why you purchase a extended warranty.Owner was extremely rude he did yell and hang up then proceeded to call my husband. Also he did not pay all of the cost out of his pocket to fix the car he "helped" pay part of it we still had to come up with over 900.00 to fix it. Also it took 2 times to fix it. We were without the car for almost a month, after that the car had issues numerous times. Like I said we still owed over 3000.00 on the car and had to get a different one because it was a lemon. I can't believe it was in a crash and we were not told so. I have records from our insurance company on how many times the car had broke down and we had to hav ed it towed, I also have both car fax reports to show they are not the same.
