Regards,
*** ***To Whon It May Concern, I *** Fercho reviewed ***'s statementThe only thing that is true is I did not give him any moneyHe never asked for money or a signed contractIn fact he told me to just pay him when he was finished because he said it was an easy job which he had done several in the pastThe following week after the install (which he made comment "all you did was lay on the couch while I worked all day"Well what did what I was doing have anything to do with what we ( my wife and I)were told he would do? I tried to contact him several, several times with no responseAll I wanted from him was an idea of timing or some kind of scheduleI received nothingI then contacted my attorneyWe have not done anything as of yet giving *** ample time to resolve the situationHis response he was not going to do anything without payment is completely ridiculousNot until he realized the job was completely messed up and done incorrectly (according to the concrete professional *** from Quik Crete) did he demand payment or he wasn't going to do anythingHe wouldn't even respond to ***'s calls requesting proof of the product he used. Mince again he ruined my grass where he mixed the concrete and I had to pay someone else to remove what *** had doneI have pictures of the complete removal showing he obviously used the wrong materialsI just want to be compensated for my sod and for the labor to remove the mess he made. Min his response he never mentions that he intended to fix the situationAll he wanted was moneyI believe he under bid the project, spent more time than anticipated and figured he could just walk away instead of admitting he did something wrong and correcting itHe had ample time to do so and I gave him plenty of chances to do so with nothing but negative responses. For someone who has been doing concrete for years (so he states) anyone not knowing concrete would have done the job just as bad as *** did and could definitely have used the wrong material as *** did. I believe he was wrong in what he did and should have figured out how to fix it.By the way, the Quik Crete rep *** said he would supply us with material to try to go over the top of what *** leftIt was material to completely redo the project*** did state that the right way to fix this problem was to tear it all out and start over due to the fact he didn't think the self leveling material being poured over the top woul adhere to the powder left by ***Not to mention, I could not get the material any way because *** would not produce the receipt proving what product he used. Please help resolve this issueThank you

*** from Nord Construction was hired to install concrete counter topsThe agreed upon amount was $ He never asked for a deposit and stated he would be doing the job himself because it was easy and he had done several counter tops in the past He came out to start the project on May 21st, He spent the day pouring three seperate counter tops totaling just over square ft He told me he would be back in a few days to finish which included removing the forms, filling and buffing to a finished product After a few days I did not hear from *** so I contacted him I told him that the tops of the counter tops were just powdering, they were not solid He said it's not a problem it's just the surface and he would be out that weekend (5/28/to finish) He did come out, I went with him to look at the counter tops and asked him if the powdering surface was normal He told me not to worry After about a half an hour or so he told me there was a problem He couldn't bu

I gave *** a bid to do his countertops on 5/15. I stated in my email that I require a signed contract and his down payment. I have all of our emails if needed. I never received either. I went to *** house to install the countertops. I was under the assumption that I
would have both at the end of that day. *** had the forms set. I purchased the bags of Quikrete Crack Resistant concrete from Menards on Miller Parkway in Milwaukee. I mixed the bags in a large bucket outside his home in the grass. He told me I could mix it in his basement where I was working to make it easier. I told him I would rather mix it outside to reduce the mess in his home. I started the job at roughly am in the morning. I mixed the concrete in bag batches. I carried the concrete in his basement in gallon buckets. I poured and finished the countertops in the same process as I have done numerous times before. The temperature in the basement was cool. The concrete takes longer to set up in this temperature. I used a trowel to finish the concrete. I troweled the concrete as it set up to ensure a flat and smooth finish. I worked on his countertops till 930pm that night, due to the slow cure time of the concrete. I put the last trowel on them and told *** I would be back the next weekend to strip and seal them. The next weekend I came to finish up. *** stated that there was a problem with the concrete. He said they were turning to dust. Before I went to the basement to examine them I reassured *** that I would take care of it. Upon inspection of the concrete, I noticed that the concrete surface was very weak and in fact was turning to dust as I wiped it. This is not the way concrete should behave. I informed *** that there was a problem with the concrete. I said I would get a hold of the Quikrete rep. I told him we should wait to see what his explanation was. *** told me he was going out of town the following week, so I should set something up for after he came back. I contacted *** Novak. I explained the situation and set up the meeting. Before the meeting my Father unexpectedly passed away. I had to cancel the meeting. This project along with other were put on hold. *** called demanding I take care of this problem or I would have a problem. In this telephone conversation *** was yelling and threatening to come to my house to make me take care of this situation. I told *** about my father and apologized for delaying his project. *** was verbally abusive on the phone. I told Mark that I wouldn't be talked to or treated this way and I hung up. I sent him an email stated that because of his threatening actions I didn't feel comfortable going back to his house to do work. I gave him the Quikrete reps contact info. *** demanded I fix the problem. I told him that this was not a workmanship problem, but a product failure. *** met with *** form Quikrete. *** told him that he would supply the products to fix the problem if I would produce a receipt for the purchased products. I told *** the only way I would give them my receipt is if I would receive compensation for the work I had invested. *** refused. *** then try to force me to turn over the receipt by having a lawyer contact me. The lawyer told me to give him my side of the story so he could advise his client n what he should do. I emailed the lawyer my side of the story. I haven't been contacted again by his lawyer since. Now Mark turned to making statements to the Revdex.com in hopes to get his way. As I stated *** never paid a dollar for any of this work. He then got verbally abusive, to the point I didn't feel comfortable dealing with him anymore. Like I told Mark, his lawyer, and now you guys, I would get *** his receipt if he pays me for my time and materials, but I refuse to do any work for him. I don't think it would be in any ones best interest for us to be together without some one to mediate. Thanks for your time and I hope this clears things up.-*** ***Nord Construction LLC(262) 408-9690The Authorities in Concrete
