I am rejecting this response because:I have seen no mention of a dye lot policy on the website While it may be there, I was never aware in all my hours of shopping on this website Please identify and verify the dates it was thereThis is a massively heavy yarn and the additional bulk created by alternating rows by carrying the yarn along side or worse, tying it on again and again, will render the garment unsightly It is knit on size (US size) needles with and 1/stitches to the inch if my math and memory serve me correctlyI enclosed a photo in my complaint to the Revdex.com which clearly shows that any deviation that you claim occurs in a hand dyed yarn within a single lot IS NOT VISIBLE on this garment The two separate dye lots, however, are like completely different colorsYou are correct that the yarn was not used immediately It was received in late May after waiting weeks for the order to arrive (and writing you to find out what the hold up was) and my son-in-law died in early July, leaving a wife and two daughters, ages and If you must confirm this, his name was W*** *** *** in Denver, Colorado I am so glad you brought this up My family has been struggling to deal with this loss and continues to struggleI have used love knitting.com for many purchases of large quantities and can verify that I NEVER received a mixed dye lot and I have ordered quantities in the 20'sI have emailed two internet yarn providers regarding this issue and have received responses from both, each stating that it is NOT their policy to mix dye lots; therefore, I challenge your statement that mixing dye lots is the standard of the industrySee two attachments.Again, I am requesting that you either replace all of the yarn at your expense or refund my credit card for the full amount I, of course, will return the yarn to you upon receipt of a prepaid return label.Sincerely, M*** *** ***@gmail.com

I am rejecting this response because:
1. I have seen no mention of a dye lot policy on the website.  While it may be there, I was never aware in all my hours of shopping on this website.  Please identify and verify the dates it was there.
2. This is a massively heavy yarn and the additional bulk created by alternating rows by carrying the yarn along side or worse, tying it on again and again,  will render the garment unsightly.  It is knit on size 11 (US size) needles with 2 and 1/4 stitches to the inch if my math and memory serve me correctly.
3. I enclosed a photo in my complaint to the Revdex.com which clearly shows that any deviation that you claim occurs in a hand dyed yarn within a single lot IS NOT VISIBLE on this garment.  The two separate dye lots, however, are like completely different colors.

You are correct that the yarn was not used immediately.  It was received in late May after waiting weeks for the order to arrive (and writing you to find out what the hold up was) and my son-in-law died in early July, leaving a wife and two daughters, ages 8 and 10.  If you must confirm this, his name was W[redacted] in Denver, Colorado.  I am so glad you brought this up.  My family has been struggling to deal with this loss and continues to struggle.

While we understand the preference of the customer to have a single dyelot for her projects, sometimes this request is simply unattainable. The "standard" of knitting with one dyelot is a recommendation and personal preference, but is in no way a requirement for knitting. There are many ways to work...

with different dyelots, and the nature of the yarn Malabrigo is that each SKEIN is dyed separately, so they will always vary in color and be random, even among the same dyelot.  It is completely possible to work with two dyelots by alternating rows between the two to blend them. It is up to the customer to check their yarn before working with it and taking it out of it's original skein. The dyelot issue could easily have been caught before all the skeins were knitted with by checking the items. This order was fulfilled in MAY 2015, and the first issue we heard from the customer was 7 months later. We have a return policy listed on our website of 30 days from date of receiving the yarn. The yarn is not a total loss for the customer, as I've described above, it is totally possible to knit with differing dyelots, and it is a matter of preference how a knitter chooses to work with this common issue. We're sorry if our service was unsatisfactory for the customer, but feel we have been fair in our business practices.
