Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolvedHowever, I think it important that you know the additional roadblocks this business put up in
resolving this matterAfter submitting my Revdex.com claim on 7/**, I received an email at 10:11a this morning (7/**) from Talia at (the business in question) that said: *** *** *** *** *** ** *** ** *** ** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** ** *** ** *** *** *** ** ** ** *** *** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** * *** *** *** *** ** *** ** *** ** ** ***" I replied times to her email but each time the email bounced back saying it wouldn't go through because was identifying it as spam (since my emails to prior to submitting my Revdex.com claim all went through, I suspect this business marked my email and IP address as spam)Since I couldn't respond and the company provides no phone numbers, I took time off work today and showed up at the store at 11:30aI was greeted by a security guard who insisted on whispering to me and only after I insisted on multiple occasions that I was not going to leave until he brought someone out who could address the issuefinally nearly minutes later Talia comes outWithout even looking at the headphones she tells me they can't fix them (which surprises me since her email to me an hour earlier said they could fix them...) and says they will offer me a full refundI give her back the head phones and she tells me that at 1p someone named Diana at the company will send me a refund via PayPalAt 4:45p today I email Diana and Talia back as I haven't received my PayPal refundand finally at 5p today I receive $in my PayPal accountHad I not been as persistent as I was, I know that I would never have seen my money back from this horribly dishonest company.
Sincerely,

At this time, I have not been contacted directly by Normal Ears, Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[Your Answer Here]
Normal credited me $1.09. This was the additional amount they charged me to get a replacement bluetooth headset that...

they never delivered. The value of the headset was going to be $149.00 but they were offered to me for a nominal fee for my inconveniences. I would be willing to close this case for $400.00. Which is my out of pocket expenses for 3 headsets. They are no longer functional and was offered with a lifetime warranty.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Normal Ears, Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because: The company contacted me through a mass email to all people with paid pre-orders for their new v2 version of headphones to let everyone know...

that they are going out of business and that all pre-orders would be refunded. They also said:"We’re unfortunately unable to service any Normal 1.0 related issues."Since my issue was regarding a Normal 1 warranty, I am assuming that this language means that they cannot honor v1 warranties and I will not be receiving a refund for the defective product that the delivery of v2 headphones was to cover. I was refunded the somewhat bizarre $1.09 that was tacked on to my $149 coupon to reimburse me for the damaged v1s. I consider this issue resolved in that the company is now out of business (small wonder given their practices). It is unresolved in that I still have broken headphones and I am out $149. I do  not see any way of this being resolved successfully.Sincerely,[redacted]
