Review: I puchased a 2011 GM certified Acadia from this dealership. I have had nothing but problems from the general manager [redacted]. I agreed to a price of $22,400 which is top dollar for this used truck.I feel that this would have been ok if the truck was pristine. Once we took possesion of the truck and it got cold enough to warrant turning on the heat there was a very distinct wet dog smell. I was alittle upset but figured I could handle getting rid of the smell. The following day my wife took the truck to her friends which was 100 miles away , The check enine light came on. I then had to make an apointment with our local dealer for diagnosis . My wife dropped the car off and had to wait 5 hours to find out that our (new to us) certified truck needs, a catalytic converter a throttle body and a power steering rack. Now heres where dont understand the customer service. I called my sales guy [redacted] and explained the issues with the truck and the run around began. He went to [redacted] and was told "its certified they can have it taken care of" now I am very upset since already my wife has wasted 5 hrs waiting for the diagnosis. it will need to go back at least 2 more times for the entire day due to parts being on back order. I Spoke to [redacted] at [redacted] who is the service manager to discuss my concerns and he agrees that there s no way this truck should have been cerified without the repairs . I would like some compensation for our time and grief for this horrible buying experience lack of help with dealing with the majior issues we are having with our new truck . [redacted]Desired Settlement: I paid $199 for a "document fee" and preaid $400 for registration . I have already already gone to my local DMV and was told that its $70 to transfer out registration had I done it here in PA. I would like these fees refunded to me . I feel like they are just adding fees to a truck I already paid top dollar for.
