Review: We were rented an apartment at Muir Creek Apartments and specifically detailed with 'then' manager [redacted], the horrible renting experience we were coming from and resident, Mrs. [redacted] had been under a psychologist care for over 2 years due to stress and anxiety. We shortly find ourselves renting a lower unit which has a creek at the rear of the building and found that the creeks here are infested with hundreds of frogs that make noise from dusk to dawn. This is a huge noise nuisance as I have recorded video where the frogs can be heard screaching and croaking. As we questioned (then manager [redacted]) about the frogs, we were told they had no idea where they came from or where they go but it would only be an issue for 2 months. That was mid February. It is now mid May and the dusk to dawn screaching and croaking continue. We want to immediatley terminate our lease. And may even consider emotional damages for the lack of sleep that Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] has endured. We recently found that the manager ([redacted]) has quit and the new asst. manager as well has quit. We also complained of loud constant activity and had to call police.We are unable to open our doors and windows due to the noise of the frogs, thus incurring higher utility usage for air. The office has been vacant. So I am informing the property managers via this complaint forum. Since all we had was their name.Desired Settlement: termination of lease within 30 days.

The frogs are part of the experience of having water features at a property, they only make noise during mating season. Which is now over. No noise was heard this weekend at all. 6/1/14

We received no letter from the Revdex.com until May 31st, 2014 we have the envelope that came with the letter showing it was not mailed out until May 27th, 2014.

Today we received a fax from the tenant giving 30 day notice but it is almost unreadable. Looking at the file they have never put any complaints in writing before and it is our policy that all complaints be in writing.

Talking to the police department this morning the only complaint ever called in was a domesticate dispute from her upstairs neighbor. The police left just asking them to keep it down.

It is true the manager is no longer with us, we did have in place a temp leasing agent. The day the manager quit I had another employee from another property take over till the new manage could start. I have also hired since then a permanent leasing agent. The office was only closed on two Saturdays and I personally was at the property twice a week.

So If the frog problem is over why can' t they fulfill the terms of the lease. This tenant signed a 1 year lease and is doing everything they can to get out of it seems.
